Yes.

That feeling when your ENTIRE workflow -- including what to work on next and what not -- is on Trello and Trello is down. Like, I don't even know where to begin with my work day without Trello right now.

Do you remember?

When we fell in love? We were young and innocent then.

… when we met?
That’s the day I knew you were my love
I want to tell you just how much I love you

Come with me to the sea
Of love

Did it hurt?

When you realized you were reading a Twitter meme on GWJ?

In retrospect, I should've realized this was coming to an end when he used the entirety of the actual song.

The last one was supposed to be the last one, until he raised almost half a million for charity with it

Yeah, but this one was shot at Allee Willis' house and has the EWF shoutouts in the credits. There's really nowhere left to go (plus, as he speaks to in the beginning, his own exhaustion with being "The September Guy.") It may come back, but I feel fairly safe that it won't be for a while.

EDIT: LOL, a long, long while.

It's-a-me! Chris Pratt!

The celebrity voice actor industrial complex truly must be destroyed though.

Real dick move, Steam. Putting a game I've had my eye on for weeks on sale for 50% off, when the sequel comes out in six weeks.

Would like to congratulate my new upstairs neighbors on the Sunday afternoon sex.

Just going to turn up my speakers and play the PornHub theme as loud as I can when the squeaking starts.

Yakkity Sax would be funnier.

COD:BLOPS 3, on the PS Store: $60

A COD:BLOPS 3 disc at my local computer repair shop, since all I wanna do is just play the campaign: $7

There should be a word for the anxiety you feel when being over a week behind on your favorite podcasts.

I'm sure there is one in German.

There was a thing on TV about the Japanese Olympic women's basketball team, and their coach is one of those really fiery coaches who yells and screams during the game. But his Japanese isn't perfect, and he seems to have only mastered the polite verb endings. So basically the whole time the team played, there was this angry guy on the sidelines yelling the equivalent of "What is it that you are doing?" and "It's necessary for you to focus strongly on the game!" and generally sounding adorable.

Lol love it.

I think this year finally broke me. I bought Persona 5. Near the end of the first palace and currently it ranks much better than Xenobalde chronicles 2 but not yet Fire Emblem 3 houses good.

PhD proposal and scholarship applications sent today.

Weird feeling of relief (finishing the paper) and terror at being rejected. Wish me luck!

Good luck!

Something someone once told me: Your dissertation is not your life's work. It is the thing you have to do before you can do your life's work.

I'm assuming there's already an anime about this, or there will be one incredibly soon.

I may not be fond of the Post, but as someone in media, this is the kind of content I aspire to create.

Here are two interesting facts about Corey Glover - the lead singer from Living Colour, who back in the 90s used to perform wearing a wetsuit:

  • He started as an actor, and has a bit part in "Platoon"
  • He spent much of the 2000s co-starring in the original cast company of Jesus Christ Superstar, having taken over the role of Judas when its originator died.

You might say he is a cult of personality.

Oh man, I saw the David Bowie tribute show that has been touring off and on since he passed away (it's organized by his long-time collaborator and pianist, Mike Garson, and features a rotating cast of amazing musicians and folks that played with/for Bowie). Corey Glover was on that tour and he was freakin' amazing live, did a great job doing the higher beltier parts of Bowie's repertoir.

Running a 5K in the morning and biking 30km in the afternoon is a great reminder than I'm not 20 anymore. But considering how much of a couch potato I was at 20, there's no way I could have done that then.

Get yourself in a lake and you got yourself a triathlon!
