Hidden Gems of Amazon Prime instant videos

Despite all these short comings and misfires, it actually sort of works so long as you take it at face value.

Sometimes that's all a movie is trying for.

If you like time loop movies then you'll like Boss Level, I certainly did.

Palm Springs on Hulu is my new favorite time loop movie.

Really want to watch this with my wife next time we're subbed to Hulu.

Palm Springs is awesome.

To make up for HBO Max leaving Prime Channels this week Amazon's offering a deal on Showtime, STARZ, and Paramount+. You can get them for $0.99 a month for two months, but you gotta act fast. Some of the channel offers expire today, the others go through Sunday.

If you get Paramount+, I highly recommend watching the series Evil.

Yes and also Lower Decks.

I did pick up Paramount+. I think I watched the pilot of Evil on Netflix. It seems awfully familiar.

I'm currently burning through Detroiters and Another Period and have all the new Star Trek queued up.

Yeah Evil used to be on Netflix. I watched a few episodes there and was kind of intrigued, but eventually got turned off by the show’s constant need to put children in danger.

LuLaRich is pretty interesting. I had never heard of this company before.

Yeah pretty popular pyramid scheme. I know one of my wife's coworkers was having parties for that stuff 4 or 5 years ago

It was the tupperware / mary kay party of the 00s. Stele nailed it, totally a pyramid scheme.

The Green Knight, David Lowery’s surrealist take on Arthurian legend that stars Dev Patel has cropped up on Prime here in the UK. It was on my list of films to go see but given opportunities to get to a cinema are somewhat limited (unless it’s a kids film) for me these days I’m sure I’ll slot it in at some point.

Oh nice. Same here. That’s one of my weekend movies sorted.

it's worth the watch! I really enjoyed it!

It's beautifully shot but it's very not for everybody. I didn't like the movie very much at all but it was worth sitting through once just for some of the visuals.

I used to think Suicide Squad was the dumbest, stupidest and just plan bad movie I’d ever seen come out of the Hollywood mainstream. At least it had Margot Robbie’s performance in it.

Infinite dials all that up past 11 and is infinitely worse. Chiwetel Ejiofor & Toby Jones should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

I'd blame Mark Wahlberg over the other two.

Watched The Voyeurs and didn't care for it. I thought this was a horror movie but it is bad rear window thriller that tries to save itself with sexy time.

A couple moves into a new apartment that there is no way they can afford. That are surprised when they notice they can see their neighbors having sex. So they watch them and get off on it until one day something bad happens. Oh no the only thing that can fix this situation is sex. Oh no that didn't fix the situation. More tragedy and plot twist and boom. One of the worse endings I seen in awhile. They should have stopped at the twist. There is more than one twist depending on how you look at

I guess the one good thing is the people are attractive. The acting was strange. I don't know watch rear window again and some porn instead of this movie.

Nice! Didn't realize it was getting a s3!

I haven't even gotten to season 1 yet. Loved the movie.

This one makes me have some hope that this may be decent

Is Teen Wolf any good? Not sure if I should start from the beginning or skip to season 6.

I watched the first 6 episodes or so and hated it.

I heard good stuff the first couple seasons. But now it seems like too much to catch up and I'm not sure if it's still good.

No help here, sorry

I'm just going to point to my earlier post here, adding that the first 3 seasons are very enjoyable, and then like Buffy, it had to find what the show was again afterward...to mixed results. It has a serialized continuity, so skipping to the final season would be the worst thing to do.

Ok so Teen Wolf, I am going through it after all, and it's driving me crazy with the main guy and his friend talking werewolf stuff in school where anyone could hear them.
