Free on Epic this week: Nioh: The Complete Edition & Sheltered
Free on Epic next week: Speed Brawl & Tharsis
Also, there's a store-wide sale going on.
Holy sh*t, Nioh! Get it, play it! Join us in thread.
After I posted it in the name that game thread (?) they put Ibb & Obb on sale for only $2 on Switch. Fantastic co-op game.

Wife and I found ibb & obb finicky and frustrating (her controller skills aren't super great).
Biped on the outer hand, is the best Co-op game we've played in years. Hilarious slapstick comedy generator, with
brilliant Co-op puzzles that require a level of verbal communication that I've not seen matched.
Biped looks fantastic. Never heard of that one.
And if we're talking co-operative puzzle-platformer-type thingies, I'll throw in a recommendation for Pode.
Jagged Alliance 1: Gold Edition is free on steam.
Did someone mention free games?
How about some freebies on Epic this week: Speed Brawl & Tharsis
And next week: The Escapists
And next week: The Escapists
Good timing on that as well. My oldest was about to spend his birthday money on The Escapists because he played on my PC a while back and wanted to play it again. I told him to wait a bit and he might get it for free. Glad I was right.
Hasn't the Escapist been one of their free games before? I have it from somewhere

I think I have it on PS4 from PS Plus.

And I think I have it on Humble and/or XBL games with gold. I wouldn't be surprised if this is an epic repeat either. I know I have tried it somewhere!

Definitely a repeat, since I have it (and its sequel) in my epic launcher library and the only game I've ever purchased on the Epic store is Dragon Quest XI.

Oh yeah, I grabbed it last time on my account. Considering I haven't played any of the freebies on Epic that I can think of, I'm getting to the point where I'm OK with repeats if for no other reason than to pimp out my kids' accounts now.

Oh man, I have fond memories of this one.
There are some Sci-Fi RPG deals over at GOG - up to 75% off games such as The Surge, Shadowrun, The Outer Worlds, and Cyberpunk 2077. These are presumably all DRM-free direct downloads.

Also, on a related note..... The Escapists its announced for next week as the freebie on the Epic store
And next week: The Escapists
BlazBlue Collection is $13 on steam
This is a good bundle for $5:
Iconoclasts
Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark
Tannenberg
Golf It!
Heroes of Hammerwatch
Tacoma
The Battle of Polytopia
Crash Drive 3
Both Iconoclasts and Heroes of Hammerwatch are fun and worth the price. Other than Tacoma, I've never heard of any of the rest.
Fell seal is a Final Fantasy Tactics clone, and quite a good one at that, by all accounts.
Wow Fell Seal has some great reviews on Steam. Sounds like the FFT/FE/Disgaea core grid battles with lots of classes and customization.
Looks like Tacoma and Iconclasts are the only ones I already own. And Fell Seal cheapest solo price ever is $7. So $5 for that alone seems pretty good.
They need to put more decent TRPGs on cell phone.

I talked about Ticket To Earth over in Android thread. It's pretty fun. Unique movement system. Decent story. I had fun with it this summer
No custom classes or anything though. Just 4 story characters. Can switch unlocked powers out for each battle and make some interesting combos

Disgaea 1 HD in on phones and has an auto battle feature that helps with some of the early grind.

Square Enix did port Final Fantasy Tactics to phones some time ago. It is still available on the App store on iOS, so I assume they've kept it up to date with recent OS updates?
