But MannishBoy, they'll never know what she sacrificed.

They'll never know.

What she sacrificed.

Never.

It was interesting seeing the things they borrowed from the Marvel Zombies comics.

The last 2 episodes were super dark and really good. More like this please.

…interspersed with some lighter fare, please. I like the dark; I also like levity. I’d go so far as to say that the dark works better when there is also humorous or optimistic episodes.

Scott Lang's Head in Strange's Cloak of Levitation was rather humorous.

Man, this looks fun. I am so down.

That looks great!

Prob not, but up top that looks more like wonder man than Ironman.

*nah, facial hair. It’s stark.

We got Pizza Dog and tracksuit bros, that's really all I needed to see.

Oh yeah! Getting a bit worn out of the dark gritty Marvel universe so some lighter stuff would be great.

This isn't a light story if it follows the Matt Fraction run of comics.

It would not be the first time a trailer has a very different tone than the actual product. Still I am going to hope.

MCU Die Hard? I'm in!

What if Killmonger Watched Code Geass

I was with that episode until it wrapped up waaaaaay too quickly. I was shocked that that was the ending they went with.

I'm not sure how much of Marvel Zombies I originally read, and it was a long time ago, but it didn't have enough in common with the original stories for me. And I didn't like the ending either.

I am not sure if you were responding to my message, but my post was in reference to today's Killmonger episode.

Yeah the Killmonger episode didn't really have a ending. Also where were the Wakanda's airships? This episode needed to be twice as long. They just showed enough to tease us.

Was really hoping Ultron was going to show up as the AI for the army

I lost count; did Killmonger do a quintuplecross or a sextuplecross?

I have heard podcasts and such mention, "well they only have 30 minutes..." Can that really be used as an excuse for shows made to stream? Granted lots of streaming shows aren't intentionally made with streaming necessarily in mind. But Disney's Marvel and Star Wars stuff has to be constructed with it in mind. Couldn't the episodes be as long as they wanted them to be to tell the best story possible?

Hah, yeah hadn't realised Killmonger episode had dropped. I as yet have no opinion on that.

I think the entertainment industry still too set in the old broadcast model. When The Expanse moved to Amazon the showrunner made a big deal about how they had to cut or condense episodes in detrimental ways to fit on television but how the move to streaming would allow them more flexibility to make episodes as long or as short as necessary, yet in practice the two seasons released on Amazon have largely still fallen within the normal episode formats for broadcast tv.

Yes, just keep watching and he does some more.

They're still budget constrained. Making it longer requires more money, and I imagine the studio doesn't like a variable episode cost. Ep. 1, $1M @ 30 minutes, Ep. 2, $1.5M @ 42 minutes. Not saying it can't be done, but even animation (not to mention live action) has some of the traditional bindings of network television even on a streaming platform. Remove the need for commercial breaks and you still have the same purse strings.
