I didn’t think anyone else would put up Qvadriga as a strategy game, even though it has a strong strategy component both in the management backend and in the overall approach to each race, but if Jonman is willing so am I. Changed my choice in the above post.
Anybody really wants a copy of it, I can grab it for you in the next sale. It’s kind of a tradition for me.
Armored Brigade is 40% off on GOG now. Not sure I'm going to pick it up this time around though as my monthly gaming budget just went to Conquest of Elysium 5 and I'm also sitting on a 50% Matrix coupon.
Qvadriga has been in a couple of bundles so there may be some keys floating around. I played a bunch of it on my ipad but it doesn't work on modern tablets any more.
I kind of bounced off of Into the Breach this time; I think I just didn't let it work on me to the point where I understood the system. I'll give it another go but time is not on my side right now.

I hate you. Now Conquest of Elysium 5 is on my wishlist. Thanks for nothing.
Um, sorry?
CoE5 is a nice improvement over 4, but I can only give a qualified recommendation; it's real money for incremental changes. More than a few other games that cost less in the first place have had more updates for free. But it does have the special Illwinter magic that nobody else does.

Thanks for sharing that, I have been meaning to ask what the differences from CoE4 are and if they justify an upgrade.

Here's the rundown: http://www.illwinter.com/coe5/whatsn...
Under the hood there's just generally more things- more units, spells, rituals, terrain types, etc. More visible, there are ports and ships, new planes to travel to, three new classes (Scourge Lord, Cloud Lord and Kobold King), factions of independents, and Steam Workshop support for mods.
I might be underselling it; the changes are significant but the game isn't fundamentally different.
Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri
Stars in Shadow
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
Frostpunk
Tooth and Tail
Wargroove
Qvadriga - I wanna see everyone moaning about losing their best driver to a rock thrown by a spectator with 1000 Aureus on the line...
Armoured Commander 2 - Pocket WW2. Play quick hit or long form, it's the nit and the grit in low res, Kamerad.
Lock 'N' Load Tactical - $5 cover charge and a wide selection of drinks from around the world.
Company of Heroes 2
Warhammer 40 K: Gladius
Lock and Load Tactical
Armored Brigade
Qvadriga
Alpha Centauri (cos I've never played it)

Armoured Commander 2 just had a major update, so I started a campaign in Normandy. Starting tank was an Easy Eight. First big fight, a Pak 38 penetrated my side (I was kind of pinned) and injured me for maybe a week's recovery. I got patched up in the field. Second big fight was going well, but a distant target I had not even identified penetrated my front hull with one shot (88, maybe?). Driver was killed, but everyone else got out safely under small arms fire and escaped. The wet stowage probably prevented a cook-off.
Now I'm out 3-7 days and I'm gonna get whatever POS tank the Major deems acceptable... And only 12 VPs on the day. Didn't even skill up on all the drama.

Edit: Oops didn't realise I was after the deadline! Feel free to ignore my votes if that's easier
Whoops -- missed that deadline. At least I'm not the only one. If it's still open, I'll go:
Alpha Centauri
Qvadriga
Frostpunk
Qvadriga. I’m going down swinging!
