Name that GAME Thread

A clue: the game was created by Mike Singleton, who previously developed Lords of Midnight.

This was a 3d open world adventure before that genre was really a thing.

Is that about that silly olympic winter sport where they ski then shoot guns?

And throw grenades. Now that's a real triathlon.

I cheated and looked it up. Yes, you will in fact say "oh yeah, that's it!"

You mean the biathalon, or "we made an event out of being in the Norwegian military?"

It has nothing to do with biathlons, triathlons or any other sport!

I'll give this until tomorrow morning before spilling the beans.

None of this helps me. Are these all euro pc games/people?

More Amiga stuff, then:

This basically cements it to me that it's a euro-based game and therefore the biggest hole in my gaming knowledge

Surprisingly, I did not go "oh yeah, that's it!" Sure as heck recognized the second screenshot though.

I don't recognize the new NES-looking game posted. I'm guessing it's something that was released in the last 10 years.

That's what I was thinking. Something like Warioware or something else that has weird little minigames.

Nope

It kind of reminds me of a game that I saw someone playing on a GWJ Twitch stream a while back. A new(ish) indie game in the style of an old side-scrolling beat-em-up, with some RPG stat / move elements. Can't think of the name though.

It is a game I played when I was young, a long time ago. It is not a game released in this century.

Eh, it's getting late on a Friday, hopefully this will knock some memories loose.

Ah, I'm pretty sure that is Tecmo World Wrestling!

You are up, Mantid!

Ok, been sitting on this one since I realized this was probably a lighthouse. A very small one, but a lighthouse non-the-less.

Not sure posting more screenshots is gonna help with this one. I guess it’s a bit obscure-overshadowed by COD and MOH. It’s the tactical WW2 shooter Hidden and Dangerous 2. I never played it, but I think my brother played and enjoyed the first one.

Free play.

Looks cool, never heard of it. I'm shocked it's published by 2K.

Wow. I was thinking Hidden&Dangerous (1 or 2), but the sky box looked way too good for 2003 or whenever that was.

My kid won't stop talking about this game lately...

Terraria

Freeplay if right

Damn, was doing low hanging fruit to avoid the foreplay.

Yeah, gonna leave that autocorrect in cause it's hilarious.
