Random thing you love right now that doesn't deserve its own thread

One of the TV properties in development that I'm attached to develop a boardgame for got a retweet from Kate Herron! (Loki Director)

Do you love the taste of Nerds Rope but hate how awkward and messy it is to eat? Try Nerds Rope Nuggets, or as Big Willy calls them, Nerds Gummy Clusters.

I lost a filling just looking at that photo

I low key love that with the remarkable synchronized vehicle choreography in this video, it's the cars that they couldn't get all to be the same model, have all of the same working lights, or to quite run cleanly. I don't even know why I find it so amusing.

That video was great.

Speaking of cars all going in one direction (loved it when the trucks came in): Driving out of a sprawling metropolitan area and there is heavy traffic but it’s all going in the opposite direction from you.

Yeah that was a great time. Went to the beach at the end of 2019 and we went on a Sunday-Saturday. As we were driving in, the other side was bumper to bumper 3 lanes of interstate. Hehehe.

My 4 year old who loves dinosaurs was sad and asking me today if there was a device that could make what he thinks about real. I asked him what he was thinking about and he replied that he wanted dinosaurs to be real. I told him the only thing I knew that could do what he wanted was his imagination and I talked to him about his dinosaur dreams and how they can make dinosaurs real for him.

He then got real serious and said “do you think there’s a dinosaur dreaming about us and we are in his imagination?”

Kids, man—wiser and wiser.

Crocodiles are dinosaurs. I'm sure some are dreaming about some human they just ate. Humans taste like chicken. hmmm are crocodiles chickens?

Anti - are there any good VR dinosaur experiences?

ARK has a VR mode.

That’s a good idea, if I can ever muster up the funds for VR. But in the meantime, I did buy the Jurassic World park sim game for the switch since it has a sandbox mode that lets you turn off disasters and aggression and has Dino-cams. We do have a lot of fun together with that game.

Found and accepted a new job. Just the fact that it's all final is a great relief for me. I will miss some things about my old job. Mostly the people and the hours. But i wasn't on the promotional track so it was a dead end for me. Gave myself a bit of a break before the next job started as well. Feels good.

Congrats!

My son is both quoting Spaceballs and singing the theme song, randomly singing out "SPACEBAAAALLLS!"

I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be sharing that joint with your 4 year old.

Someone made a website that's like Netflix, but with all the fake movies and tv shows from movies and tv shows.

https://nestflix.fun/

It’s brilliant.

Oh man, there's like three of these in every episode of The Critic. That would be impressive.

I almost wish I was bored enough to take the time to submit the many fictional magical girl and few fantasy shows that appear in anime, but I'll never get around to it.

Wow! A place to stream both "A Sick, Sad World" and "The Crows Have Eyes 3: The Crowening"!!! Awesome!!!

Spoiler:

Just kidding, I'm only going to watch Buffay: the Vampire Layer on repeat.

Yeah I loved the few I found and knew. Some I didn't know the names of the fake show so I learned something. But then I started thinking on the topic and immediately found a few that were missing.

I'm gonna host a Scorcher marathon.

Even better, a 23+ Jump Street marathon!

But not Catholic High School Girls in Trouble?! Maybe I am region-locked.

My faves were “Threat Level Midnight” and “The Rural Juror.”

Brain reps:

That video almost made me late for work. Haha. Really cool.
