Name that movie thread

That is a hilarious guess, but no:

(Man, that actress as Pennywise would've been something else.)

Return of the Living Dead?

Also a fun guess, but also no:

I correctly identified Billy Drago, but the guy who looks like Gene Hackman is apparently not Gene Hackman.

Indeed, the guy that looks like Gene Hackman is not Gene Hackman.

I'm just going to throw this clue out there as well, because I've really indulged myself with this pick. In her third, but most recognizable appearance in the most pink and green movie in cinema history:

I think thats the guy who always plays a lovable sort of yokel. (looks it up.... ) Jim Beaver.

Deadwood (Ellsworth), Justified (Sheriff Shelby), Breaking Bad (the guy who sells guns out of his trunk)

edit: lol, the word Sheriff appears 22 times on his IMDB page.

Bobby? But his name doesn't show up for this movie. And the guy in the pic doesn't have a beard.... well I guess he hasn't always had a beard.

Vamp.

1Dgaf has it! It's indeed Vamp:

It starts off as your standard 80's boner jam, about two dudes trying to hire some strippers to pass a fraternity initiation, but when they find a strip club, the strip club ends up being run by vampires. If Tarantino wasn't eyeing it while writing From Dusk til Dawn, I'll eat a hat.

Good gawd, talk about a straight rip. I bet Vamp even has a monologue from Cheech in it.

I mean, I don't think it's actionable, but "people from a different genre wander into a vampire stripclub" is a very specific twist.

All the President's Men

I think

Nope. It's hard to get a picture of this film that doesn't give away too much, so this might be the only one you see for a while. That's why I picked one of Redford being handsome in a suit, as it could be so many of his movies.

The Winter Soldier!

Nope. In The Winter Solider he had aged like a fine wine, or perhaps cheese.

I'll take one more guess, then I'll give a hint.

I wish! He was much older in that film.

Don't look at the URL please.

Talking of Sneakers, I did a podcast where I re-watched it with a concept artist for Star Wars and the Halo TV show.

Three days of the Condor?

Nope. Here's a clue - it's a comedy. Don't look at the URL please. Last one:

Has this stumped everyone?

Here you go. Free play.

Can't say I've heard of it!

It's a comedy heist film. Good fun and has a sequence where they take a helicopter past the World Trade centre as it was being built.

I'll be taking a gander. Comedy heist? Awesome. I love heist films, even bad ones.

In the meantime, pretty sure I did this one once or twice before:
