DeGrom gave up a run in 4 innings with 6 Ks so far and his ERA went up
He's given up 7 runs in his last 3 games and his worst stretch of the season. His previous worst was 3 runs in 3 games. Before his game against the Phillies, he hadn't even given up 2 earned runs all season.

Looks like his past his prime and ready to be shipped out for new blood.

His ERA is 1.08. Absolute trash. Who would even want him?
Home Run Derbys are indeed like PKs in the Euro finals.
Ohtani's putting the first pitch he sees tonight into the seats.
Blue Jays killed the Rangers in a back-to-back today. Vladdy decided he’s going to continue his reign of terror and hit another bomb. He’s now 2 behind Ohtani and leads the entire majors in pretty much every offensive statistic. So many unbelievably talented young players right now.
Acuna, Buxton, and Chisholm can’t stay healthy. DeGrom’s arm is acting up. Trout still isn’t back yet. Ohtani has an injury history and I just want the young man to stay healthy.
As a Jays fan I REALLY hope Vladdy’s commitment to fitness and move to 1st will help him stay healthy. Plus if he just keeps hitting home runs he won’t be able to injure himself running the bases.
Mets have done it again. The stupid part, not the coming back from the stupid part (yet).

It really sounds like he says "and he loses the ball and it's funny". It took me four listens to figure out that he says "and his footing".

looks like they may pull off the coming back part, but I could definitely be calling it waaay too early.
Edit: I was, but I also wasn't.
It's amazing that the Angel have amassed a good collection of offensive players over the years (Trout, Walsh, Ohtani, and Rendon (he's stuck in a horrible season-long slump though)) but have absolutely refused, consistently, to do anything about any of their pitching.
Three hits, one walk, 8 Ks.
He comes off the mound, the Angels immediately give up three runs and lose.
Is that a Japanese advert I'm seeing in the background of the early part of the vid?

It is. It's actually really common when it's a Japanese starter since that came is broadcast nationally in Japan.

I keep on seeing highlights and remembering only when they switch to a crowd shot, "Oh yeah, they're still not allowed back into Canada."
Very soon! July 30th!
Tickets went on sale pretty much right now.
They are doing it in home stand blocks. Going to see if I can catch the A's whenever that block goes on sale for September.

Where/when are such games broadcast?
