Although I think Bethesda gives them a run for their money with Skyrim.

Living national treasure.

I always thought she was British. She's been fooling me for years, decades even, but I just can't stay mad at her.

As did I, expat it is then.

She's how I learned "bidialectal" is a thing. She switches between accents depending on context.

Notably recently she's played Margaret Thatcher in "The Crown" and a lead role in the Netflix series "Sex Education". To my untrained ear her accent in both seems to be so good that I went down the same rabbit hole recently of "What's her nationality?". It's rare to have an American do a British accent, after all.

Beat me to it. That one on the pill bottle could get someone killed.

This. So many times this. "You last rebooted your PC 3 months ago and you are wondering why it is acting weird. That is like the equivalent of going a week without sleep."

That seems pretty low for a fresh reboot, actually.

There wasn't a link where I found it but there are things like this that might be the same thing.

It goes for Macs too. The worst I've dealt with is a 15 inch macbook pro that was up for over 6 months.
People think closing the lid is turning it off

I had an older Mac that was pretty rock solid though. Was a G3 iMac running Mac OS X 10.2. Thing would run like a champ and the only time it went down was when the power died. Six months of uptime was no big deal for it. Of course in many ways Mac OS X 10.2 was still mostly just OpenBSD with a fancy GUI

Yeah, but every time I reboot it's basically a coin flip as to whether I'll have to spend half an hour getting Windows to see my primary display.

My work computer is so old that rebooting it is basically a 45 minute procedure. Longer if there are windows updates. I usually go about a month or so between rebooting.

Mine used to be like this. I got in the habit of rebooting it AFTER work and just leaving it running overnight so it was ready in the morning.
