It Crowd reference!
It Crowd reference!
You know Cradle of Filth is an actual band that was around almost two decades before the IT Crowd was made, right?
I had no idea.

This knowledge brought to you by My High School Best Friend’s Goth Older Sister (tm).

I'm so proud of knowing it was a Cradle of Filth reference and not IT Crowd (never watched that show). However, black metal ... bring it on! Been a fan of CoF for quite some time, only seen them once in concert but it was great!
... getting some strong flashbacks of some weird times... Luckily I gravitated towards the NIN, Prodigy, KMFDM side of things instead oF Goth. But I did have a standing invite to a LARP Masquerade group.
I was around people that were into CoF but I was more into stuff like Sisters of Mercy, Switchblade Symphony, Joy Division, Rasputina, et al, rather than the growly screamo stuff, but I was also into a lot of punk and industrial. KMFDM is still one of my favorite bands despite my tastes generally broadening.
So, that first quote has me gut laughing, over and over. The second one ... I have just a very serious nod, but I also cannot explain it. Both quotes are true to me. Third quote, also true.
Edit to add: Along with the weekly drawing thread, this is one of my favorite threads, thank you for keeping it going. <3
... because we thought they were going to be cool.
... because someday in the distant future we might save a click or two.
Irrational and transcendental.
2004 eh? Bowling For Soup released 1985 in 2004. That'd be like releasing a song today titled 2002.
