Silly aliens! That's not where our third arm is.
Wow. This looks almost exactly like my envisioning of the town and castle in Kafka's The Castle.
High Sierras of Northern California
He's got a point, but you could draw blood from your arm without affecting your ability to wield a sword or bow.
He's got a point
Yes, that's a good way to draw blood.

If this is at all interesting to you, check out the Tamsyn Muir's Locked Tomb trilogy. Book one is called Gideon the Ninth, and has been described by some as "lesbian necromancers in space".

My love for Gideon the Ninth is boundless. The sequel is very confusing, but really well-written (up to Jemisin levels for me), and a playful edge I love. ("I love a bit of gall on gall" never gets old for me)

The second person viewpoint was weird at first, but worth it for story purposes. I'm obsessively awaiting the third book in the trilogy. My (12 yr old) daughter is also obsessed.

I am reading the third book of Jemisin's Inheritance Trilogy right now, and I love it.
That's a trademark violation.

Not the Kickstarter thread, but this reminds me of an RPG that is live on there right now who's setting is "Meatpunk."
And because picture thread:

Two lawyers I asked both said trademark violation, not due to confusion but unlicensed use. It may imply that Korn, the band, endorses this corn. Which it probably doesn't.
As a total layperson who's only knowledge about this is what the Penny Arcade folks said about their "American McGee's Strawberry Shortcake," parody isn't blanket protection; it only protects your use of something it it's the subject of the parody. The PA folks weren't protected with their comic because they were making fun of "American McGee's Alice" rather than Strawberry Shortcake itself.
So the question I see here is, are they making fun of the band, are they making fun of the food, or both? Answering that question is for actual lawyers.
The fact that they're selling the corn also makes this commercial speech, which is subject to different restrictions. Here endeth my totally non-lawyer expertise; I know just enough about this stuff to know that it ain't simple.
