Total War: Warhammer

It’s been a bit since I updated and there are so many mods.
I’d start by adjusting a few filters (most popular) and browse categories (user interface) of interest.

Enjoy!

Probably better quality of life mods:
Changs, unique faction capitals (good), better camera mod, progression icons. Most of the recommended ones are solid!

Enjoy!

I consider this list my "core" mod pack that I don't want to play without anymore.

Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords lets you get the other legendaries for your faction if they die, so you don't have to waste hundreds of turns trying to confederate them if they are being stubborn for no reason.
Skip Intro Logos we never needed these past the first load on PC...
Region Trading lets you buy those missing regions of provinces you own cities in so you don't have to go to war with an ally just to complete your province. It requires the UI Modding Framework.
UI Modding Framework is required for Region Trading and some other mods. Does nothing by itself.
Legendary Lord Respec lets you respec legendary lords when you acquire them from confederation or the defeated legendary mod. That way your awesome lords don't get stuck with those early game red points the AI likes to spend (or extra mounts).

Sweet!

Thanks for the recommendations.

New DE LL on the 18th, a beastmaster of Klarond Kar.

Which everyone thought would be part of the last DLC for this game, so me and a friend are now really curious who the last lord pack is going to include. Neferata and Rakarth were the obvious choices as it maintains the combo of WH1 + WH2 race, and both of those races could use an update to their faction mechanics. There are plenty of Tomb King legendary lords out there so we're hopeful it will be a Tomb King and Vampire Count DLC. I really do not want to see any more Lords for Skaven or Lizards at this point though.

With the new DE LL coming, which was a big surprise, there are a lot of theories going around. DE is one theory but not as strong since there really aren't that many units left for this one. Though Creative Assembly did state that this would include a TW2 faction so that would eliminate a Dwarf vs Vampire Counts for example. So some potential options are Lizardmen vs Beastmen, Beastmen vs High Elves, Dark Elves vs Beastmen. Skaven just got more content the last few DLC so they will be in TW3. Lizardmen already have a lot of legendary lords but still have a lot of units to field. High Elves do too but also just had a recent DLC so that may be a tough one. As much as it would be cool to see Tomb Kings, Chaos, Vampire Counts or Dwarfs get more content, my thinking is either DE vs Beastmen or LM vs BM.

Trogolodons, Oxyotl, vs Ghorgon, Taurox, and Jabberslythe!

Edit- OR Dark Elves vs Dwarfs! Beastmen folks will be pissed though...

The new DE LL, Rakarth, is voiced by Iwan Rheon, the flayer of skin from Game of Thrones. Such an appropriate choice!

My assumption is that Beastmen will be delayed until TW3 because that game will have a massive Chaos rework and may even do some changing of how Hordes work. Since the Beastman release the only other horde that has come out is Nakai. Hordes do not really work in how the game is currently set up, the AI is far too ruin dwelling happy.

I love the new LL start location. You're on Albion right between the Norscan and Ulthuan.

Teaser for next weeks gameplay reveal for TW: Warhammer 3!

I am excited!

Thanks for the update. This and the Darktide game from Fatshark are my most anticipated titles for 2021. Can't wait!

Me too, and I still haven’t even finished the first Warhammer yet

Darktide looks so good too!

I loved TW 2. It’s the only TW game I ever played. I only played one campaign in TW 2(30ish hours) and loved it.

Oh yeah!

Final WH2 DLC

Does this imply a long awaited update to the Beastmen faction?

How does he use the blowdart with no lips?!

We're getting ogre mercs as FLC!!
Edit:
More info here:

Did the blog post used to say ogre mercenaries? It currently just says mercenaries. It sounds like they may have accidentally leaked information that has since been removed, since I have also seen talk of a dwarf rework.

Yeah, there's supposed to be a dwarf LL as well as ogre mercs.

Dwarf rune magic update too!

Beastmen update details released today. Looks great for a horde faction. Now if they would apply equal effort to Nakai and WoC.

They buffed Norsca LL as well.

Just sitting and thinking today but, has Total Warhammer become a GaaS? I feel like it's right on the border but it's close to the best version of that I can imagine.

Whatever it is, I'm happy with it. I never feel forced into buying DLC unless I enjoy the factions, because all of the QoL stuff is included in patches for free, and I can fight against the new DLC factions without owning them.

Fair price for lots of content, updated regularly. I think this is the best possible case for this sort of thing.
