NBA 2020-21 Season Catch-All

LOL Knicks

It is kind of ironic. To me, though, it’s obvious after 1 game that Atlanta is far more talented.

78 points in a half? Can they just forfeit and start the late game early?

Did you miss his other four playoff years?

I did, honestly. I assumed he hadn't been in the playoffs for a while.

The 90's called and want their precious Oak-Mace-Ewing ball back.

Denver also broke 70 but Portland only down 12, this one still might be interesting

Check Dame's back for stress fractures. Carrying this much cannot be healthy.

Truth

Cut it to 10 a few times. Oh well

Does anyone get bailed out more than Anthony Davis?

Isn't that why you hitch your wagon to LeBron? So that he can win and save you from critique if you don't play well?

I have had this suspicion for a while but now I’m pretty sure: I think Paul George might be a cursed loser idiot. You’ve lost your two home games and you have no level of concern? I understand that you can’t say the team is scared, but say something better than this:

”There is none," George said when asked what the team's level of concern is after losing the first two games at home. "It's a competition. We got to rise to the occasion. The fact of the matter is if we don't, we're done for. There is no level of concern.

History tells me that Kawhi isn’t the fly in the ointment here. There’s just a lot of evidence mounting against George. He shat the bed in the bubble last year and backtracked to say the team didn’t expect to win a championship. Dame ended the season before in his eyes, and he then says it was a bad shot for Dame to take.

CJ McCollum is a good example of why he should drop the machismo bullsh*t. Showed a little belly with “Im trying Jennifer” and years later he’s still beloved, respected.

I meant by the officials. So many late whistles when he falls down.

Yeah that's also why you play with LeBron. He and Wade never once got called for fouls on chase down blocks, although about half of them were fouls

Yes, blind, Playoff Paul is definitely the problem

And Clippers being the Clippers. Even when they make the playoffs they still are the Clippers

As a Raptors fan, I enjoy Paul George tanking the Clippers.

The sheer amount of jokes they are going to get online if they get bounced in the first round this year.

And they'll deserve it, to be honest.

1 - All the first round picks they gave up to put *this* team together? This team of players who don't seem to complement each other terribly well, nor get along well together?

2 - It's a completely joyless team. Granted, Kawhi is fairly joyless on his own most of the time, but it's just a slog to watch this team. No one would truly enjoy seeing them win a title, so this is the best outcome, to be honest.

3 - Paul George was kind of a jerk in OKC. Part of why Lillard was so dismissive of Paul when he hit the game winner is because the entire series that team, particularly George, were barking at the Blazers constantly. The goodbye wave was deserved.

Anyway, it's going to be funny if they're bounced again.

Pacers fan right there with ya. Fine if PG never wins another series.

I saw something on YouTube that despite kawhi despite having a year left on his contract could seek a trade to go to the Warriors. I have to admit, that is pretty salivating for wishful thinking

I thought maybe this was just a small sample size and it looks like that’s the case. I can’t isolate late whistles, but AD was the victim of one shooting foul per 14.17 minutes this year.

For comparison:

Giannis drew the most shooting fouls, at a rate of one every 6.8 minutes.

Montrezl Harrell drew one every 11.8 minutes.

Rudy Gobert, one every 12 minutes.

Demar Derozan, one every 9 minutes.

Embiid, one every 7 minutes.

Lillard, one every 13.6.

And for fun: Davis in the 2021 playoffs: one every 8.77 minutes.

So yeah, small sample size.

Oh yeah, it's definitely something that was just in this game. It was shockingly different than what I'm used to seeing in terms of Davis getting calls.

Knicks looked cooked for a half. One good run saved them

And Knicks fans are already the largest group of insufferable assholes on the planet again, after their first playoff win in eight years.

*sniff*

....I love us so much.

Philly has trash fans, btw. I hope the bad karma from that nonsense means no chip for them. Go Nets or Bucks.

Russ should've absolutely been allowed to go Malice in the Palace on that dude.

Things I never thought I would say: I hope the Knicks or Hawks make it to the Eastern Finals.

So true... the Jazz were wearing black. BLACK! It is just an offensive money grab.

So is Miami this bad or Milwaukee this good? What has been up with the Heat, they just look like they don't care and don't want to be playing. Burnt out from the long bubble and then short layoff and then slog of a season?
