I believe it. We don't even have a guard of that caliber. Too young, too inexperienced.

A fitting end to a resoundingly mediocre season. A 23 point drubbing by a middle of the pack Big10 team. I saw no sign of the team that beat FSU, Duke twice, and VT... but plenty of the team that played UVA and Clemson. Ugh.

Ah well, I had no illusions they were going to get past Baylor anyhow. Would have been nice to win one game, though.

Bye Purdue.

Pretty sure the big 10 is having the worst 24 hours so far.

Unless Syracuse and Clemson both lose.

Yup, North Texas hands Purdue a ticket home.

I wouldn't be shocked for one or both of Clemson and Syracuse to lose. Guess we'll see how it shakes out.

Syracuse doing that thing again. Everyone says they shouldn't be in and boom.

Crazy first half.

Boehiem is a good tournament coach. He always seems to do well with low seeds.

And down goes clemson.

... I knew there was something happening this week that I totally blanked on.

Ok, big upset or not, this right here is just hot garbage. I understand disappointment, but threatening a player that participated in the game on the team you claim to be a fan of? GTFOH.

Yeah Ohio St fans suck.

In today's early action... Yikes, Georgetown. No Garden magic here. Getting rolled by 30.

FSU still in a tight one. And Kansas looking shaky at half.

Yeah, Colorado was on fire.

FSU was extending the lead for a bit, but then uncg started getting hot.

Kansas looked like they had no idea what to do with this upstart team that just wouldn't stop hitting shots. They better come alive at halftime or they'll be headed home!

Well there it is. VCU out. Oregon advances.

Had positive tests on Wed and more Friday but just canceled the game this afternoon.

Too bad they didn't have a replacement team 3 days ago... oh wait...

That was garbage. They announced that they were going to keep 4 teams on alert for this circumstance. They should have parachuted in the next team and played the game or cancel the tournament

Yep, that's a whole bunch of BS. They could have engaged a stand by team after the cluster of positive tests.

Hahahaha Virginia

UVA goes nearly 10 min in the second half without a bucket, and loses by 4. Some last second heroics got them close, but gap was too large.

Sheesh.

... I knew I forgot something this week.

Abilene knocks off Texas with free throws from the worst free throw shooter on the team? March, thy name is madness.

Shaka still hasn't made it past the first weekend since his very first season final four run. 10 solid years now. Crazy

Illinois falls to a surging Loyola. Just a complete game by the ramblers.

Yep, LC better team start to finish.

But of course they were top 10 in both NET and Kenpom. Terribly underseeded because "mid-major".

Enjoy your trip home, Wisconsin.
[still mildly salty]

Syracuse looking strong early. Nearly 4 min before West Virginia scored a bucket!

Yeah I hate the lone afternoon games. We usually get one like that second one. Boring from start to finish, unless you're a fan of the higher seed. Never in doubt.

Syracuse looking strong but WVU closed a bit at the half.

Finally the other game started on TNT, if this gets out of hand, got something to watch.

The syracuse game tightened up here at the end. Sloppy defense, poor choices... Ugly.

Yeah Orange trying to blow it.

Houston started finally. Arkansas v Texas Tech 2 points at half.

Shaping up for a good evening.

I dunno why Syracuse kept letting WVU force them to that corner! They managed to escape, despite the attempts to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I expect Houston to roll, but we'll see!

Arkansas survives a last minute flurry from texas tech to head to the sweet sixteen! Thought they had a good look to tie with a few seconds left, but couldn't close.

Houston struggling a bit with Rutgers!

Oral Roberts hanging with Florida.

Missed FTs and layups will haunt Tech. Wow

Max Abmas putting on a show for Oral Roberts again

What a finish to the Rutgers/Houston game! Houston survives to punch a ticket.

Oral Roberts!
