[News] Post a D&D Picture

Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.

If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.

And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.

The poisonous streetlamp gives it away.

Actually, it's venomous.

Probably both. I bet it's full of lead paint.

I always mix those two up!

If the pole was played by Tom Hardy in a sh*tty movie, it's venomous. If it was an '80s hair metal band, it's poisonous.

Does that make Inception venomous? [thinking_face]

You would think so but Inception is actually poisonous because consuming it can cause a brain illness in some people that makes them think the plot is confusing.

An unfortunate side-effect of Inception Poisoning also renders people utterly incapable of using the word "inception" correctly in a sentence.

Since its inception?

You people...

Kruse has expanded his repertoire from repeatedly exposing convicted felon Dinesh D'Souza's abject ignorance to publicly shaming Cancun refugee Ted Cruz.

Cruz tweeted that "If a Republican tried to nominate a trial lawyer like Xavier Becerra to lead HHS in the midst of a global pandemic, they would be laughed out of the room," and then tried to clap back at Kruse's response.

Are we certain that Carson didn't try to perform brain surgery on an apartment?

Aged like milk.

we can know for certain because no apartments have filed any malpractice suits against him, unlike his actual brain surgery patients.

Since we got more than double that and counting, can we all agree that he's one of the worst presidents ever?

2.5 times, as of a few days ago... we just passed five hundred thousand dead.

Covid has killed more of us than WW2 did. And WW2 took four years.

It also shows the difference between the relative populations.... in WW2, most able-bodied men registered and went to war, while everyone else left back here suffered under severe rationing and were constantly doing things to raise money to donate to the war effort. It completely consumed the country.

In 2020, we can't get the conservatives to put a mask on.

A judge shot down his attempt to halt deportations.

Why is the kid labeled "liberals" rather than "centrists?" Most of the lefty folks I interact with have been screaming about how awful Biden is ever since he got nominated.

Liberals are centrists in the Democratic Party largely.

Yeah, the term has been muddied by decades of conservatives who view anyone left of Reagan as communists, but “Leftist” and “Liberal” are discrete political positions.

Yup.

Not to mention that any non-EO change in our immigration policies has to come from Congress, which has to actually change to the law to say that people should not be deported. Until that happens any EO or memo trying to stop or decrease deportations will run into stiff legal challenges and most likely lose.

There is a bill for it, but it's not very far along. It was introduce and referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary on 1/28. We'll have to wait to see how long it stays there to know how accurate the image ends up being, at any rate it's not Biden's fault.
