Who farted?

He who smelt it dealt it.

He who observed it served it.

He who sniffed it biffed it.

The dog. It’s always the dog.

Why are we having a freakish, very rare blizzard *after* all of the schools locked down again, so we can't have snow days?

I dunno, but I just appreciate the instant COVID test. Nope! Haven't lost my sense of smell yet!

Of all months, why did they choose February as Black History Month? The cynic in me circles back to a simple racist explanation, but I doubt that's it. Anybody?

This article explains why in detail:
Why Americans Celebrate Black History Month in February

TLDR: Because the birthdays of both Fredrick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln happen in the month of February.

I teach at an independent school (Like a private school, but non-profit.) Our head told us today that we will never have another snow day. She said it off the cuff, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a joke.

I don't think you've seen the back of snow days, for the simple reason that it's not free to maintain the infrastructure and resources required to switch back-and-forth between remote and in-person schooling on a whim.

Maybe places that have multiple snow days every single year, it'll make sense. For places where snow days have hitherto for been an occasional thing, it's likely more efficient to simply schedule make-up days in the school year calendar and keep snow days.

Did they really make Sonya Blade and Kano part of the earth realm heroes in the new Mortal Kombat movie?

To clarify, I am pretty sure that she meant that *our* school will never have another snow day - not that our society is done with them,

It's not free, but our school has been using tools that we already pay for. Part of the expectation for our students is that they all own a computer, and the school has a Google Apps for Education account, so we all have pretty much everything we need to do remote learning and have for several years leading up to the pandemic.

It appear so but I would expect Kano to somehow double cross the other heroes. Deep and well thought-out with hard to see twists are not something I would count on from that movie.

I am disappoint.

Why was Professor Utonium trying to use chemistry to create the perfect little girls in the first place? What was wrong with the usual method for creating little girls?

I have three daughters. Utonium knew exactly what he was doing.

I am trying to sell an expensive pokemon card. Valued around $360 AUD, asking $280 because I want a quick sale and I don't want to have to claim it's 100% near-mint when I'm not an expert on this particular series of cards.

I've posted on an Australian FB page trying to find a local buyer, but got a lot of interest interstate. Didn't want to post because I'm uneasy about taking money online.

Paypal has protection, but I've heard they often side with the buyer.

Bank trasnfer should be safer as far as I'm aware, but I'm not sure.

Any advice for selling this without getting physical cash in my hand? I've been scammed once on eBay selling items (which I, fortunately, resolved with them), so I'm a little scared about parting with something this expensive online.

That man is a monster and a eugenicist.

I’d go with bank transfer over PayPal. To be honest I think as a seller the risk of being scammed is less because you can just not send the item until you have the money. Just be upfront that’s what you’re going to do and send it well packaged via some sort of tracked mail. And give the buyer the tracking details so they can have confidence you’ve kept your end of the deal.

Also try and select a buyer that’s got some history in the Facebook group. Talk to them and if anything feels off don’t commit to the deal. If you’re pricing it cheap you can afford to be fussy about the buyer you choose.

Well actually.

Jojo pushed the Professor in such a way to have him hit the container Chemical X and bring the girls to life in their current form; the Professor realizes that Mojo Jojo himself was responsible for creating the Powerpuff Girls.

Right, the Chemical X that gave them superpowers was an accident, but why was he mucking about trying to create little girls in a lab in the first place?

He was a former Nazi eugenicist, brought over during Operation Paperclip. He was an incredibly intelligent young scientific mind. Due to his youth and youthful appearance it was determined that the best way to integrate him into American society was by being adopted by a suburban family. Which worked fine, except that family already had a child. A daughter. Who ended up terrorizing the boy and causing deep trauma leading to the experiments discussed previously.

Tell the buyer to mail you cash or a check and wait until it is cleared. Any other way you have a chance to be scammed. These high dollar “will you ship” are often scams.

If you do choose to sell it by digital payment, do it some way that lets you ensure they have good feedback. Like even if you don’t sell it on eBay I think you can check for their eBay feedback and send them a message that they reply to to prove it is their account.

Send cash in the mail? Is that something people actually do?

They were aways part of the earth realm heroes, weren't they? They're kombatants representing Earth.

Yeah, Kano changed sides but he was originally a Earth champion.

Sure. Just send it via a trackable method and in a card or wrapped in paper so it isn’t obvious on the outside.

Yeah, Kano changed sides but he was originally a Earth champion.

He was still an earth realm champion, even if he was working against the rest of them. Had he won the tournament it'd still have counted as a win for the earth realm.

I thought the trailer said all 4 were the heroes. Oh well.
