That's pretty much the point where I'm at.

You both have time to think of something. There's no rush.

How do I send you a prize for that one?

Ok, I thought of something:
"He was a memorable part of my teenage years"
....because a close family member frequently had the radio tuned to his show during car rides. I still hadn't developed a true political identity, but I knew that what Rush was spewing, was not me.

Ok, at the pearly gates, 1 lb goes on the "good" scale....and infinite tons minus 1 lb goes on the "awful terrible waste of life" bad scale.

Making large tax-deductible donations that they won't miss and are far less than they would be taxed if they didn't cheat is how rich white men get their sentences reduced when they commit crimes. That is a get out of jail card, and every rich man knows it. If he were an actual "pillar of the community" he wouldn't be grifting in the first place.

Go back under your bridge before someone breaks out the alchemists' fire flasks.

Thanks, I was not aware of his body of work.

I did not troll him. I had open and honest debates with him up until he referred to me as an "adversary". Dimmer posted here long after I had left, so I was not the cause of him leaving, if they are one of the posters that Guru is referring to.

FYI, I posted here long before Walker was Governor, so that being my entire body of work is also a lie.

Tagging thread time! Congrats!

It's funny how sad, desperate, and grasping for accomplishment the propaganda is, too. A bestseller in an area well known for buying books in bulk simply to juice up numbers? Unsourced awards? Laugh worthy. I feel like we're seeing the trial runs for when a certain other corpulent, drug-addled sex offender kicks it.

I'm surprised you're here, as well. I recognize you because I see your name every time I log into the admin console as having the most reported comments in the very long history of this site. Your entire body of work here has been transphobia, trolling, backbiting, and not "walking the line" so much as haphazardly crossing it constantly.

None of that is welcome here.

Infamy requires attention served to the infamous. Let his passing be a warning to not forget empathy or kindness whenever we can. Platforms hold power, and he used his for some truly terrible things. Good and Bad is not a zero-sum game, and entertaining the notion that doing some good things helps kind of counter some of the bad things is a hell of a slippery slope. Let's not go there.

So, anyway, back to platforms. Let's not use ours to memorialize corrupt men. You've had a day to grave-dance. Evil, crusty old men die from cancer every day, let's move on.
