2020/21 Soccer Thread: Messxit?

I believe the same issue exists for the Benfica x Arsenal game.

Bamford scores again, certainlly proving a few Leeds fans wrong (me included) about how he would get on in the Premier League.

4-4 and extra time; I'd say viewers are getting their money's worth.

Come on you Spurs!

That was just nuts

Phooey.

You wanted £10 million!!!!

Honestly, I wonder if Jose is physically addicted to getting into spats with his players at this point.

Lol the celebration.

For pretty much the first time since Klopp took over, I’m actively cross with how we’re playing right now.

I know the team is mentally shot at the moment, but Klopp needs to acknowledge that and play accordingly. Too many players need a lengthy break they just aren’t going to get and our entire game plan needs to change to accommodate that.

That was awful, a total collapse in 5 minutes.

Genuinely shocking.

Like, it's not anywhere near this bad yet, but I'm starting to get vibes of when Klopp damn near got Dortmund relegated.

As soon as the third goal went in I said "at least Liverpool already have 40 points, so they're probably safe from the drop."

It's not that bad. We're not Spurs.

LA-DEE-DAH "WE'VE GOT FORTY POINTS"

I'm over VAR.

Saka has a PK pulled back because there wasn't enough contact I guess? At full speed any contact going past a defender who's not even playing the ball but trying to block the player is a PK imo.

If they threw out VAR and just kept goal line technology, I'd be fine until they figure out the rules with technology.

"he's never scored in the premier league" - a phrase to strike terror into Everton hearts.

Fulham making us look like the side mired in the relegation zone today.

First league win at Goodison Park ever!

Still seven points adrift, but hope! Brief, fleeting hope!

WERNER SCORED

8-2 Bayern, 3-0 Juventus, 4-1 PSG. Not a great six months in Europe for Barça.

Also, Dest got eaten alive.

Barcelona have one hell of a rebuilding job on their hands don't they? Especially given their financial issues.

Liverpool played well tonight - better than Leipzig certainly - but were gifted their two goals from defensive howlers. Definitely deserved the result. The options off the bench look light at the moment though, Oxlaide-Chamberlain appears to have forgotten how to play football unfortunately, you've got to wonder if all those injuries have finally got to him. Curtis Jones however if definitely one for the future, outstanding tonight and ran his socks off.

That first Mbappé goal was something else!

Oh look

another point

I'm starting to get nervous, Pred. Saw a projection yesterday that had Fulham finishing just 3 points behind Newcastle.

I'm so angry I laughed at that.
