Post a Picture of Your Silly Purchase of the Month.

This is the greatest purchase I've ever made.

OK, I bought this...

I haven't gotten it working yet. I had to physically alter part of it to get it to go together, and now when I try to print it drags the lower layers around instead of adding to them. So I'm still trying to calibrate it.

If you're having bed adhesion issues, a glue stick is always a good way to go.

I just got the same printer about a month ago. It's pretty great, especially for how affordable it is.

How come I can only like this post once?!?!

I'm going to have to try that. I'll refrain from posting my rant, but I finally got it close to working despite some assembly issues. It's just now dragging the print around instead of adding to it.

I just ordered some of this. Hopefully, it will help.

Yeah, I've seen that stuff, but honestly, a regular generic craft store glue stick will work just as well and you'll get like 5 of them for the price of that stuff.

Wow, that stuff is pricy! Even more than Dremel's own, that I'm using very successfully.

I did not NEED this shirt, but god damned I WANTED this shirt. 80s nerds represent!

Is it silly to purchase stonks?

Only if you can't afford to lose every penny you put in. If it's disposable, have fun and spin the wheel.

We will do MegaForce on the show one day. I have the DVD ready and waiting.

I kept hearing how great this show is, and it was at an historic low, so I got myself an early birthday present.

Hey that is Ensign Ro that became Admiral Cain.

That show takes me back to high school and Friday nights alone in my room in front of the TV. Ahh... memories!

(In all seriousness, it's an amazing show!)

Ah, the origin of Detective Munch, who has gone on to appear in at least 10 different shows, including The X-Files, Arrested Development and 30 Rock, which means that those shows all exists in the same universe as Homicide/Law & Order.

But, Homicide also featured two doctors from St. Elsewhere in an episode which means all those shows (and hundreds more) exist in the St. Elsewhere universe which means...

(spoiler for the ending of a medical show that ended in 1988)

Spoiler:

All those shows only exist in the mind of an autistic boy named Tommy Westphall.

Wow, I had no idea about this character.

Woooo! Got one incoming! Stay tuned!

That is pretty freaky, Baron.

That's the kind of silly content we need more of around here.

Our current car (Honda Jazz/Fit) is about 10 years old, so a good time to get some selling value and replace it with...

ALL ELECTRIC BABY!

It's a Renault Twingo Electric, the smallest electric hatchback we could find. It drives like a dream, perfect for my wife to drive into Brussels with its small size yet fast acceleration. It was more or less a moral choice, as the TCO will be about the same as a similarly sized gas guzzler in the long run.

Renault...that's a name I've not heard in a long time...

Still sad about them ceasing selling the Fit here in the states. My 2008 is still going strong and I will NEVER SELL IT.

Still feel that way about the Smart brand. It hurts even more that my previous one was a bit of a lemon, so I didn't keep it.

Like the design of the Twingo. Might consider it as a replacement if it was available in the States.

We were very happy with the Jazz/Fit, it's a super reliable car and its trunk space/car size ratio is still impossible to find elsewhere. But back in 2010 it was our main car, now we have two kids and a dog and I have a big company car. And the current Jazz Hybrid is just not as cost-effective and fuel-efficient compared to its 2021 peers.

As an American I wish car companies sold more small cars like that Renault here. I drive a 2015 Jeep Renegade and it's in some "small" vehicle class, which blows my mind since I think it's quite large.

Good choice on that Renault! It could probably fit in the bed of most new US pickup trucks.
