Shot in the dark, I'm looking for the Fortnite Switch if anyone has seen one around. It was a limited edition for the holidays, but I'm hopeful there is one out there somewhere.

I see 3 local craigslist listing in my extended area (Virginia) for them starting at $350 new.

Yeah, thanks guys. Hoping to find it for retail somewhere, but doubtful that will happen.

Next on the block! Razer Leviathan 2.1 with virtual Dolby.

I went back to my full 5.1 setup so I no longer need this. It's incredibly good for its size and gets very loud while retaining clarity. Can sit on the desk or be wall mounted.

The only negative I have, as do a lot of reviewers, is the subwoofer cable. It's shorter than it should be, is proprietary, and needs to be handled gently. Works just fine.

Retails for 199.

Throwing in a longer stereo aux cable and a 15ft Toslink cable with a right angle adapter

Asking 150 shipped.

Anyone have any bone conduction headphones collecting dust? I want to give them a try but I don't want to spend a premium on something I'm not sure I'll like.

I got my wife a pair and her sister did the same so we ended up with two versions. We returned the set I got her but amazon is pretty lenient on letting you try them. I did notice a better quality in the big name brand aftershocks we returned. It's real nice to hear music and your surroundings. If no one here has them you can go that route.

I love my AfterShockz. You don’t need to go to the most expensive model. The 80 dollar one is fantastic.

i've gone through 3 pairs of aftershokz ( trekz titanium, i use them constantly and they sometimes crack at the transducer connection point). love them, i can listen to podcasts and still hear my kid being suspicious!

I'm adding my voice to the Aftershokz love. I used to run with some cheap bluetooth in-ear buds, but I never felt safe because they blocked out EVERYTHING. The Running Room (a chain of stores here in Canada) had a demo display for Aftershokz and I was blown away at how well they sounded. I bought a pair that week and I've never regretted it.

I have a pair and my wife has a pair. We bought them after listening to them at an outdoor store. They work great for running, biking, listening to music, etc. We have the Airs. I lost my pair and after a week I gave up looking and got a second pair on eBay for $60. Then I found my original pair. But I keep one pair around for a spare because I don't want to be without them. Ever.

Battery life is great. They're super light. Stay one well. My only complaint is that bike helmets tend to move them out of the optimal position but that's a small complaint and literally my only one.

There's a pair on eBay right now for $50.

I'm sorry what? Hearing a kid being suspicious? I believe you meant to say, you can tell when silence falls over the house and you suddenly feel the presence of ninjas in your house. Because that's what happens when my boys go down that road.

she has many forms of auditory suspicion sounds, from the cat yowl to the complete dead silence with room in between for water running in the bathroom for too long to the Thump followed by silence.
on subject, +1 on tough to wear with headgear of many types, unfortunately the basic design kinda conflicts there.

Just wondering, do these aftershocks only work on the air bone like all these pictures have them? im thinking all that time i spent working retail they would have been amazing to conceal (maybe putting it on the color bone?) that I was listening to podcasts while doing all the monotony that is retail work.

They would not work on the collar bone.

If price were no option, you could get a hearing aid that pairs to your phone to listen to podcasts and no one could force you to take it out

Good news! You can indeed do this without your boss finding out: just get some of the molar speakers used by SEALs. See if you can get them to add a pair to this contract.

Which PS3 is it?

oh yeah - I should have included that information also
it's a CECH-4001B (250GB i think). It's a slim model with the sliding top - not the original fatty.

*SOLD* (to a co-worker)

I have a PS4 1TB Slim for sale. I just got the call that my PS5 is in, and they only want to give me $160 for the trade in. The cheapest used PS4 on Swappa of the same model is $230 the cheapest on Amazon is a laughable $298! (seriously don't buy one from Amazon)

So I figure if I sell mine for $200-210 depending on shipping then you will get one cheaper than you can buy one from those places and I will get more than the store was going to give me.

Any takers PM me.

My friend had good luck with facebook marketplace selling his at 200. Just another route if this doesn't get a bite.

Selling the back-button attachment for the PS4. now that I have a PS5.

$15 shipped.

PM me if you interested.

Anyone got an iPad or iPad mini laying around they would want to sell?

Got one, thanks johnnypolite!

The disc drive for my Wii is totally dead. I have a few games that I regularly still play with my kids for Wii, any chance there's a GWJer out there who wants to part with an old Wii or even a WiiU I can pay you for?

Thanks, Ted! You Rock!

If you can't find one at a reasonable price, fixing them is perfectly possible. IFixit, for instance, sells compatible DVD drives for $35. Taking a Wii apart is kind of a pain, but they have a good set of instructions on how to do it.

They claim they're official drives; you might also be able to use something cheaper from the aftermarket, but $35 really isn't too bad. You might also need to spend another $10 or so on the tools to open it, should you not have them.

The IFixit guide on how to replace a Wii DVD is here. They have links to the parts (for purchase) near the top of the article.

This is the best kind of project too, since you can only make things better. Worse case: you still have a dead console. Best case, you're the household hero and gain a few new skills.

As someone who worked for Nintendo and fixed Wii's, you definitely won't need the spudger cause that seems like a money grab. You can do the Spudger tasks with some flat thin tweezers instead, and as long as you're careful, you won't scratch the casing (if you care about that).

For steps 9 & 11, you don't need to remove the Phillips screws (they're just holding in the drive shield so save yourself some steps). The tri-wing/Y screws are the ones that hold the top and bottom of the Wii together. So for step 10, don't even remove the two sticker screw covers by the serial number, just the one below it.

Thanks! I've had one sitting here with a dead drive for a while.

IFixit is always pushin’ that spudger.
