NFL 2020: The playoff thread

There is a world where I follow Cleveland Browns to Baltimore. I mean, at the time I had nothing tying me to that city, and the Ravens sounded cool as sh*t.

But instead of two Super Bowls and Lamar Jackson to root for, I have this.

9 hours of football yay

Uh oh Bills.

Catch and fumble, clear as day. Come on NFL

Oh brother.

Edit: It felt like the end of three different games got spliced into one.

Rams to Lambeau potentially.

Nice.

Bye Seachickens.

Colts-Bills: fun game!

Rams-Seahawks: exhausting, like most of their games are

TEAM-Tampa: Eh, my expectations are low for that one. Bucs should win 19-3 or something like that.

The one question I have is: how good is the Bucs OL at picking up pressure?

That should be the entire game.

Oh, wait, Heineke is starting? Why do I have this on? Games already over. Poor kid.

The side by side images of Brady and Blanda is really jarring.

Edit:

Seriously, either the TB12 method is the fountain of youth or Blanda was all city miles.

I'm 41, and I am closer to Blanda than Brady. Hell, I'd kill to be able to throw an NFL quality pass now, much less two years from now.

Spoiler:

And I want those sweet chops.

A perfect description.

Meanwhile, Taylor Heinicke is really really good, according to Tony Dungy, who appears to be watching ODU game film and not the NFL game on my teevee.

Also: "Tom."

I hate both of these announcers.

Cut Dungy some slack, he's trying to find a way to say something positive about a foregone conclusion.

Update: That was actually a helluva run by Heinicke. Kid has some wheels.

I hate Scott Turner's call on the 2-point try. Let's throw it to the TE right at the line of scrimmage and maybe he'll fall in! Yeah, no.
i do think heinicke has played himself into about 10 years of backup qb money. he's looked as good as damn near any backup we've seen this season.

Heinicke sounds like what you say when you greet someone named Nicky/Nikki.

Hey Legion, what do you make of all the Urban Meyer rumors to your Jags?

Nice Samuel Jackson intro to the game. Haha.

I'm liking it a lot less now that I've heard that Trent Baalke is pushing for that hire. It sounds like Meyer and Baalke might be a pair, and I sure as f**k do not want to sit through another Trent Baalke franchise poisoning.

Now, Meyer without Baalke? That I could live with, though I'd still rather the team go a different way.

Lamar in the playoffs is unwatchable.

Let me know how it goes...

I hate to say it, but that was some Taysom Hill skymail on that Lamar INT. What was that?

The playoffs are in his head. I can't watch him until he wins one.

Yeah not every team can have such a calm, collected, pressure-thwarting QB like Trevor Lawrence.

There's an MVP run to tie the game

Josh Lambo would have made that field goal.

You know, if he were in the playoffs, and also not injured.

Cody Parkey will make that fg tonight, and it will be to cut into the Steelers 27 point lead.

Well, things may change soon, but, as of right now, Trevor Lawrence does have as many wins as a starting QB in the NFL playoffs as Lamar Jackson does.

As long as Ohio State doesn't get promoted, I think Legion is safe.

Haha get rekt Titans
