Name that GAME Thread

Herzog Zwei. This game alone made our Sega Genesis a worthwhile purchase. A remake/reimagining would be pretty cool.

Free play.

There was one called AirMech but it didn't capture the same feel, they went for a smaller, faster paced style with similar building / controls.

Keeping the Genesis games going:

No guesses?

It's Granada - an early Sega Genesis shooter.

My SNES owning ways made that one difficult for me, love the big robot design though!

Hopefully an easy one for you all:IMAGE(https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/assets/uploads/2019/07/red-dead-revolver-2-650x365.jpg)

Red Dead Revolver.

Spot on I remember getting very excited for a sequel to this but slightly confused it would be open world. Shows why i should just play games and leave the decisions about making them to others.

Over to you Grenn.

Freeplay.

Call of Juarez... gunslinger?

I don't remember that exact scene, but Gunslinger's gotta be it.

Definitely Gunslinger - I'd guess it's from the bit where they were attacked by Apaches - no wait, Apache style.

Gunslinger is such a surprisingly good game.

The "Outlaws" sequel we always wanted.

Yup, the game was a sign of good thing to come from Techland

Yay! I was going to free play but got hit with some gaming free association. So...

Alien Colonial Marines?

Not quite. One more:

Looks awesome. Like L4D married to an Alien/s aesthetic.

Alright, I'll end my turn. This does look like a very cool game. A very unfortunate name though.

That's been on my wishlist for a while after a coworker mentioned it, but the lack of a static group to play with and little in the way of discounts has kept me from pulling the trigger. I don't think it's ever gone deeper than 20% off, which is still up around $27. Just a little too rich for a game I might not spend any real time on.

Oh I totally agree!

That there is Fighting Masters. And I played that game way more than was healthy. It wasn't even that good. But the characters were awesome. I was a Grinder main, his spin attack was real good.

EDIT: I'm just going to assume I'm right because I'm 100% certain. I hope that's ok.

I’m hoping it’s my long dreamed for Murray the skull / terminator cross over. Arnie won’t stand a chance against that devilish being.

It's uh.. It's not that.

I want to say this Mad Max, but I have no idea what platform this is

Clearly Mad Max inspired.

This is 100% a Mad Max game! I played it on the Genesis. I get the feeling that Garion is on the right track. This is definitely Mad Max, but maybe the studio couldn't get or lost the rights to it.

Since Mad Max clearly was not the name of the game, I'm going with Road Warrior.
