Dag nabbit, I missed Night in the Woods on Epic.

Same

Well, I guess I shouldn't be TOO sad, I mean, it's only like $12, and I'd be supporting the developers by buying it.

One of the developers was caught up in a some of the #MeToo stuff, so make the choice you're comfortable with.

That said, I'm pretty sure the game was part of the big itch.io bundle earlier in the year, so you may already have it.

Yeah, but A: that guy committed suicide shortly after the Metoo stuff came out, so there's no concerns about somehow supporting him with your purchase,
B: the rest of the dev team were vocal at the time about their disappointment in him and unswerving support of Metoo, and
C: the other main developer is a Goodjer (Bombsfall on the forums)

Because Solitairica is on-topic, I want to take it as an excuse to advertise my absolute favourite Solitaire game.

Pocket Card Jockey - 3DS

It's not on sale as far as I'm aware, but it's cheap enough that you could buy it with pocket change.

I don't have any interest in solitaire or horse racing, but this is such a delightfully weird game. The various systems are better than the sum of their parts, and everything just falls into place perfectly.

It's just a wonderful little quirky experience that is better than it has any right to be.

There was a mobile version too, though I can't recall of it was released outside of Japan or not. I want to say there's been talk of a Switch release, but now I can't dig that up.

It's, honest to gawd, the best Game Freak game since the DS Pokemon games.

Couldn't get the button to load on the GOG website. But launched GOG Galaxy and the banner was right there for an easy click.

GUILTY GEAR XX ACCENT CORE PLUS R is $2.39 on new egg. steam version. Can the name get longer.

Torchlight 2 is free on Epic.

It can, and the franchise can't get much less accessible. Based on my past experience, if you are not a fighting game enthusiast, this franchise is not for you.

I got this to work but had to update Galaxy manually with an uninstall / reinstall. Banner came right up after that.

This morning I bought Jedi Fallen Order, Star Wars Squadrons, and Star Wars Battlefront 2, in a super sale combo pack for Xbox One is the Xbox store. The great pile grows!

Oh come on!!! "Stew Wars" is the auto-correct fail I've always wanted to make.

Seriously, thanks for the tip. I've been hearing about this bundle and it sounds great.

Seems to be a repeat, was on as a free week giveaway before. But enjoy those who missed it.

It you run into this in the future you usually just have to leave Galaxy open for around 15 minutes and it will eventually update itself. I have yet to find a way to manually force it other than the method you used.

That being said, the banner on the website worked for me.

Jurassic World Evolution free on Epic today.

Looks like the last of the dailies. The next one up is "Crying Suns", which is coming "soon".

Is Death Stranding worth playing at this point? Looks like it'd be $20 with Epic coupon.

Ha, yeah. Guess I should have left it like that.

The question is which do I play first? Probably the shortest single player one.

Got myself "The Outer Worlds" with the epic coupon, including dlc and other freebies for about 14$, at that price I couldn't resist it and I'll be trying it out first thing 2021

Tempting but man way too many *free* games out there. Stranded Deep has me hooked from earlier Epic's freebies

Death Stranding is great. Whether it's worth $20 in amongst the firehose of free content is for you to decide.

Avengers down to $25 now on Amazon, $5 cheaper than last week.

Getting closer, but still $25 too much for my tastes.

At this rate it will be $20 by the time they finally add Spider-Man.

If you are looking for a relaxing jigsaw puzzle like game, try Glass Masquerade, which is now on sale on Steam for $1.74. Each of the puzzles is a stained glass window broken into irregular sized pieces. Select a shadow piece and it fills in its design and rotates into the correct orientation. Placing the piece in the correct position can be more challenging that in sounds, but the process of finishing a puzzle is very satisfying.

It was back on sale so I jumped. Thanks for the recommendation!

Last day of the Steam sale today, Epic's last day is Thursday.

There's a couple I might go for on Epic, RDR2 is £27, Death Stranding £17 and Immortals Fenyx Rising is £23.
