Anything related to Biden and his upcoming administration. May this thread be less active and controversial as that last guys thread.

Let them. The lead is 14k+.

Thank you for that reassurance!

And even if it did, they would have to overturn GA, PA and either NV or AZ to actually change anything. The odds of them getting even one of those states to flip due to "fraud" is so incredibly small.

Edit: That's not to say we just let them. We fight this all the way.

So the postal worker in Pennsylvania who claimed he was ordered to backdate ballots mailed after election day--which was cited by Sen. Lindsey Graham in his letter to the DOJ calling for election fraud investigations--was finally interviewed by the U.S. Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General. During that interview he admitted the allegations were made up and then signed an affidavit stating he was a little lying liar.

Then the postal worker uploaded a YouTube video saying that the news reports that he recanted were false and that everyone would find out why today. This is likely because the postal worker's claim of voter fraud was originally pushed by Project Veritas last week and Project Veritas has been hammering the voter fraud myth hard this election cycle.

Back in October Project Veritas got caught paying money to a Somali American to say on video that he paid money to other Somali Americans to "buy" their unmarked mail-in ballot, which they claimed was “the biggest systemic voter fraud smoking gun in American history.” More recently, Project Veritas has offered a bounty of $25K for any allegation of voter fraud.

Speaking of money, the postal worker set up a GoFundMe "to help me in the case I am wrongfully terminated from my job or I am forced into resigning due to ostrizization [sic] by my co-workers.” Last night he had raised $136,000.

On the lighter side of this insanity, the Trump campaign released hundreds of pages of affidavits of suspected voter fraud from Republican poll watchers in Detroit.

They include a claim that one poll watcher engaged the "independent lawyers" observing the entire process in "causal, friendly conversation" and, to their shock, found them to be "ideologically far-left." Another knew something nefarious was afoot when he witnessed military ballots that had votes for Biden when he knew that "military personnel tended to be more conservative." Another poll watcher feared for their safety because the poll workers wore BLM face masks and there was another (black) man of "intimidating size" that was "very closely following" Republican challengers. One would-be challenger used his foot to jam open the door leading into the vote counting area, demanded know how many Republican challengers were in the room, didn't believe the that the room's occupation was maxed out due to COVID precautions, and liked it even less when he was handcuffed and arrested.

Does this recount include the votes for senate? That could change something.

No, just the presidential votes.

It's so dumb (as is everything) this is going to cost Georgia tax payers millions of dollars just to keep the story in the news cycle and it won't change a thing.

Nah. Recounts almost never change the result by more than a few hundred votes. In AZ the result has to differ by less than 200 (or less for smaller races) to qualify for a recount.

It would almost be worth it if it improved people's confidence in the system but trumpists are so far gone I don't think it will actually happen. Instead they will find another even wilder theory about how the election was stolen.

I just looked at senate races and the vote differences. Even if the recount impacted them the variance is too big (and too small to hit 50%) so yeah, no impact.

Completely agree Badferret. Political theater at its worst

There are a lot of good Twitter threads about how Trump and the GOP refusing to concede is just another grift for Trump, the broke RNC, and the GOP Georgia recount. However, if Trump feels he can take the GOP and his base over the side into a second term (as Pompeo said), he absolutely will.

Pretty sure the campaign has to pay for a recount, but I might have the wrong state.

I believe it depends on the state and the difference %.

Unfortunately, GA law has the state pay for a recount.

Damn I should have made a fake twitter to watch for voter fraud and offered to start a go fund me to help me research it. I mean I am doing it for free now and yep...no voter fraud.....

I guess this could solve your senate issue...
Mississippi Republican calls for his state to ‘succeed from the union’ after Biden victory
(I guess I should clarify the spelling error is not mine This might even save your PISA ratings)

Just when you thought Miss. was getting it together taking the confederate flag out of their state flag.

If at first you don't secede, try, try again.

I, for one, won't be taking up arms to stop 'em.

Let MS go and add PR. Join the Dakotas and add DC. We won't even have to change the flag.

And make Wyoming a non voting suburb of Denver.

Aw, Wallace started deleting tweets and made his account private.

But there is nothing like the internet to preserve perverseness and sedition, regardless of deletion.

I believe part of it is that Georgia moved to a new voting system and will use this recount to determine how well the system worked.

I honestly think that's why the recount is being done by hand and not because of Trump. That it appeases Trump in some way is the icing. The cherry on top is whatever favor they can extract from him before he's booted out.

This big brained genius figured out how to get Ole Miss into a national championship game. Delivering to Mississippi what Tuberville, Orgeron, Nutt, and Freeze could not.

This is your kind reminder that even in a deep red state like Mississippi, Biden got 39% of the votes.

That said, I'm increasingly starting to believe this is an actual battle of good vs evil. Not just of the obviously corrupt-to-the-core GOP vs the hesitantly but reasonably decent Dems, but of the actual population. I don't want to think of it that way, as many of you were raised, loved and nurtured by people who are now mouth-frothing Trumpists.

Sure, you can get blasé about 70% of Republicans claiming to believe the election was rigged, water is wet of course they do yada yada. But it's still shocking to me how far regular people are willing to take this, while also conveniently accepting the good GOP Senate and State level results. This is not about sheeple being manipulated by evil right-wing propaganda (a theory I loathe anyway, as it absolves citizens of their civic democratic duty while also being super condescending), this is about people choosing to believe the most selfish, pernicious, convenient story at any given moment.

To the point where I'm starting to believe the regular Trumpist actually knows on a conscious level they're bullsh*tting. I guess we'll know when the Georgia Senate run-off results are in. I mean, if you honestly believe Democrats will steal the election anyway (talk about projecting, especially in Georgia), why even bother to vote? If turnout doesn't fall off a cliff for those 70% of Republicans who believe Biden was elected fraudulently, then they never believed it to begin with.

Nice. See, folks, there's glimmers of hope with Biden.

I'm still waiting for all the "if Jo Jorgensen hadn't run Trump would've won by a landslide" comments. I haven't seen any anywhere.

Guess I should take a stroll through Reddit and 4chan.

I think they're currently clutching their pearls around, "Kamala Harris is going to legalize prostitution!"

I was seeing people raging about Jorgensen as early as the day after election, as soon as it was becoming clear that her share of the votes exceeded the margin Trump was losing by in a couple states. I haven’t seen anything recently so it’s possible they’ve just moved on to whining about other things.
