I'm going to have to add some Steam friends, ... so, just because I friend you up, don't get me wrong, don't think you got it made ... :)

Yes, time to send friend requests to the whole participant list in an attempt at obfuscation.

This part gets more difficult with each passing year. So many on the list are already friends.

Not complaining, mind you, just sayin'.

Got my gifts, and they are absolutely amazing.

Pictures in the morning, but farley3k knocked it right outta the park!!

Why we got two people with sim racing equipment on their wishlist that are not members of the Racing Dorks?

Because I really want to get into racing games as a way of learning to drive manual without ruining Absurd's clutch (not a euphemism) in the process. What is "Racing Dorks?"

Wow, folks are prompt ... I will post a wishlist on here soon.

Parts amassed. LOTS of assembling to do this weekend.

Victim. I know you didn't ask for this, but you will get what you get and like it.

And so it begins...

Aha! You've given the game away that your victim is Adam Jensen!

Sim racing enablers.

Don't want to derail the thread here, but I wouldn't recommend racing sims as a way to learn a manual. Much like the FIFA & NBA games don't teach you how to dribble a ball, the racing games won't teach you how to get the car rolling, upshift, and downshift. Just getting the car going from zero can be challenging, and the racing games i've played haven't focused much on that. Gotta get out in a real car to learn it. You've gotta be pretty hard on a clutch to damage it in a short learning session. It'll be fine.

Seconded. I learned to drive on an automatic as a teen and only learned to drive stick shift ten years later. A sim is no substitute for the real thing, especially since each car will have a different feel for that sticking point where you engage the clutch as you ease off the gas (and vice versa). I cannot undersell the importance of real life experience in that matter.

Just rent a manual car for a day or two and ruin that clutch.

I have Absurd’s car, and I know those things. What I truly need is confidence.

Package away!

Someone near Sandusky is going to be very disappointed on Thursday.

It seems that I am behind on the gathering and sending. Oh wait! it is Nov 3rd. Y'all are just overachievers.

Same, I'm still stalking my victim I mean Stantee. I have some ideas but have not yet pulled the trigger.

yeah i wont be in a position to make a start for a while , so no real rush

I know **exactly** what to get my victim, and I am pretty sure it will send them into a hand-fluttering OMGOMGOMG happy mess. I just need to figure out the exact details.

I did do some shopping today. Dear Santee, I would happily get you everything on your list; however, it is covid season and work is a bit slow. Budget cuts.

I find that both amazing and terrifying. <3

That’s an unusual reaction to scorpion venom.

A new murderbutt species, just in time for the holidays!

A magical package has arrived. I will wait a bit to open, but wanted my Stanta to know it had been delivered successfully!

So now that this thread is about five pages long, I have a question.

Spoiler:

What is ‘yeet’? I’m old.

Throwing something forcefully out there, either literally or figuratively. I think. I have teenagers to explain these things.

The present tense of “yote”

Actually yote is the past passive participle. Yeet is both a noun and a gerund. The future pertective is yart.

I prefer defenestrate.

It's the opposite of yoink.
