Post a video, entertain me!

This is the post a video terrify me thread right?

There's a series called "minecraft manhunt" that I've been having fun plowing through. The premise is that a crazy good speedrunner and several of his friends start in a fresh world - if he kills the Ender Dragon he wins, and if his friends manage to kill him they win. The hunters get a compass that points to the speedrunner, but other than that it's vanilla rules anything goes. It turns out to have a ton of cat-and-mouse twists and surprises as they try to trap each other and so on.

One caveat: careful with the volume, as people being ambushed tend to scream into their mics.

Here's a random one from halfway through the series, with three hunters. (they start with 1v1, and eventually get up to 1v4)

That is so awesome. I would love to do something like that, but I'll never have the time, space or money that would be required.

I was smiling at the ending. Very fun.

A surprising amount of them have suspense-movie endings like that. What they're doing turns out to be really well-balanced, and the people involved on both sides are really clever and resourceful.

I'd suspect them of being scripted except that the people involved clearly aren't that organized

I don't think they are scripted - I just think Dream does a lot of planning before the matches.

Yeah there's no way they're scripted, I was just extemporizing. I did watch a video of someone accusing them of being scripted, but the complaints were pretty absurd. They've talked a fair bit about planning things out beforehand though (each side I mean, not planning together).

That said: a new one went up since I posted!

edit: only five minutes in and Dream has already pulled a clearly planned IQ9000 strat

Thanks for the recommendation. I needed this kind of video in my life as of late.

Not sure how this video hasn't become a meme.

I've often wondered if my SHIELD helicarrier would float.

I had no idea this existed and i kind of wish I didn't.

I don't think you should lightly watch is because there is a long list of content warnings at the start ranging from rape to violence. But the legal fight is interesting.

Spoiler:

Oh god there is a part 2. I guess the author sees the law as a hammer and anyone not agreeing with her as nails.

Content warnings again for the same reasons as part one but less focus on the books more on the lawsuit stuff.

She must be a fan of 5secondfilms. NSFW 1 f-word.

NSFW language.

I agree with pretty much all of this. It's why I gave up on playing Red Dead 2.
