You need to add an adjective to describe why we go back for another drink.

Facinating animation of a bridge construction circa 14th century

I was totally sure that frosty woods shot was gaming graphics. The smooth drone camera instantly convinced me that it wasn't real.

That highlights just how good graphics have gotten, too, because games look much like that. They don't usually bother making trees that tall (a lot of extra polygons, and nobody looks up), but they could duplicate that shot almost exactly.

(edit: actually, they could do better, because a rendered version wouldn't have video compression artifacts.)

Yeah, I wish I knew this trick about a month ago when I was hanging a new wifi router on the wall; it probably would've prevented me from making 3 incorrect holes.

Works good for smaller objects but not so well for larger one. You can also use a piece of paper (say if you have something with 4 holes that you need to mount it) but the nice thing about the tape method is it won't shift.

When I use paper I try to tape it in place.

this is one high quality video

Right. I don't use tape, but I've been using a sheet of paper for this for a long time. I'll make a pencil mark on the wall with the tape measure for centering, then line up the paper and level the holes with a spirit level. Then I'll mark the wall through the holes in the paper and drill or put in anchors as necessary.
