What are you playing this weekend?

A buddy and I picked up Vermintide 2 off the Under $15 sale for PSN and we've played a couple sessions of it. I'm really enjoying it so far, it strikes me like a fantasy Destiny that only deals in strikes. Looking forward to slowly gearing up a couple characters.

In my own time, I've been played Hades on the Switch, which has been great. I'm terrible with roguelikes, this hasn't been much of an exception but Supergiant has done a great job with the combat and ensuring there is always an interesting story bit waiting for you on the other side of each death.

Apparently I'm hooked.

I destroyed Ganon. Then I immediately started up Genshin Impact. So that’s uncanny. The art, the monsters (that’s a chuchu!), the climbing and gliding are all obviously copied, but the combat and character management are dramatically different. And lots of tutorials up front.

Maybe I’ll go back and do the BOTW expansion content in my vanilla save.

Also some Chrono Trigger on the 2DS.

So I found another link to the Epic version of the BL 3 season pass on Fanatical and purchased.
I want to love the first DLC because - Moxxy but, um, its kinda boring and that is being kinda kind ;P

Overcooked 2 for me!!!

I should be wrapping up Dishonored 2 today...I have been going the stealthy route, and I have no clue how people are managing the Ghost achievement on this thing, It gets intense!

Many, many reloads.

Quicksave and quickload are your best friends. That, and installing the game on a SSD. But I couldn't imagine playing it any other way.

its easier in d2 than D1 because the game tracks stuff like that in the menu, so you can see if you've missed stuff, killed anyone or been spotted as you play the level, instead of having to just cross your fingers and hope by the time you end a level.

I don't think i have the ghost achievement for Death of the outsider, now that i think about it. hmm.... will need to change that. Also one of these days i need to do a no powers run of D2 as well.

This weekend i will be doing much the same as all the others. Work on some art stuff, work on some D&D stuff, play some Hades. I did grab BG3 but it runs so poorly on my laptop that its not going to happen for a while, either until it gets patched to heck nearer 1.0 release or i get a better laptop, whichever comes first.

It has become pretty much unpredictable.. but I will attempt to

FFVII Remake - push for the finish line!
i will try to do some Witcher III

I know the wife willwant to play Overcooked 2 and the son Mario party 10.. so here we go

I'm starting 10 days of staycation starting tomorrow. I'm hoping to play some Morrowind, KotOR 2, and maybe a spooky game like Outlast 2.

Pro Strategy Football 2021.

For those of you old enough to remember Tom Landry's Strategy Football in the 90s, this is by the same guy and retains enough of the look and feel of the old game to give you nostalgic flashbacks if you played that.

I've made it to 2024 with my Miami Dolphins team and with two weeks to go we're 8-6. If I win one of the remaining two games I'll have my first winning record after past season records of 1-15, (oops), 8-8 and 7-9.

I might be able to break my 9 weeks streak of being unable to play games this weekend! Yay! If so, I will be playing Skelattack, and maybe other things like Assassin's Creed Origins or Dragon Ball FighterZ, we'll see.

More Path of Exile, possibly start Super Mario Sunshine on switch.

More Monster Train, the new season of Fall Guys, which seems pretty fun so far, and maybe Deep Rock Galactic too. Bring on the weekend, it's been a slog this week.

Hoping to make significant progress in Assassin's Creed Revelations, and possibly in Assassin's Creed Liberation HD.

RL Hiking and spelunking.

And then some Yakuza Kiwami with whatever time I have remaining, probably.

I want to say something new, but really it's probably just Minecraft and Genshin Impact.

I will be away from home but with access to a PS4 that I can load my profile onto... so I'm thinking Genshin Impact will get some love. I will likely not play much, though. Got vacations next week, though...

As it's International GWJ Days 2020 this weekend (and next) I'll be joining in with some multiplayer games with other Goodjers.

So far I've signed up for Wreckfest and Among Us

I'm also hosting a game of Root (Digital Edition)

Some other great games being organised that I'll likely join in with.

For my solo gaming, maybe some Battlestar Galactica Deadlock or Anno 1800.

I just picked up Hades, so I’ll be checking that out... or playing Minecraft and Slay the Spire like usual.

A few more runs of Hades, time to get some more completes, and

Spoiler:

Romance a disembodied head

For the first time in a long time, I know exactly what I'm playing this weekend, and what I'm committed to playing.

Kicking things off on Saturday with...

And then on Sunday:

Happy international Gamers with Jobs weekends, folks! And don't forget the donation drive!

For Space Game Junkie, i've been asked to play Spaceforce: Rogue Universe which is a weird eastern European space game from the late-aughts. For myself, I'm back on a kick of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, as the bloodshed in that game is just wonderful, and I'm needing it right now. Also of course more Bloody Rally Show as well as A pirate quartermaster, as I'm dying to see how my current journey will end.

I snuck in some Spelunky 2 and Paper Mario Origami King this evening so I’ve already managed more gaming than my normal weekends. Hopefully I’ll have time for more Spelunky and either Destiny or continuing my replay of Secret of Mana.

My players are about to complete Chapter 4

We're playing remotely using Fantasy Grounds and Google Hangouts.

Finally diving into Shin Megami Tensei IV now that I'm done with Trails of Cold Steel II for the JRPG club. The 3DS has still got it! This is fantastic so far.

Otherwise, Monster Train has been a daily activity for me. I've almost won with each of the factions now, going higher through the "covenant" (difficulty) levels with each win. Easily my GOTY.

Dusa is ADORBS.

Starting minecraft dungeons with the little ones.

-Probably BG3 early access.
-Then some D3 season 22 PTR dabbling.
-I can't tell whether I enjoy Necromunda Hive Wars or not. It has warts for sure which is a shame because the setting has huge potential. I know I like what little I played of Project Phoenix more and I suspect I'd like Gears Tactics quite a bit more.
-WoW pre patch is next week, SQUEEEEEE!!!

Playing PS3 games. Retro weekend.
Spelunky and Tales of Xillia 2.
