Only downside to Stan is he's a big supporter of building a wall.
I knew it was Stan. Can only be Stan.
Jeff is...
They’re both gems to me. <3
I'm a huge fan of when JVG when he starts complaining about flopping and instant replay.

I mean, if it had been pitched this way, I might be onboard.
Meanwhile in New Jersey
Kyrie Irving doesn't see Nets as having a 'head coach' despite recent hire of Steve Nash
I think Doc Rivers will probably be good for the Sixers. I'm not even positive he failed in LA. He definitely didn't coach great tactically in recent years, but I assume he has it in him to win another title with the right group.
I know I am in the vast minority, but I always thought Doc Rivers to be over-rated. He won 1 title with a stacked Celtics team (before super teams were the fad) and underachieved with a loaded Clippers team. That being said, I think he's a good fit for the Sixers, and when you look at the list of coaches in that division… Nash will have his work cut out for him to keep up with those guys.

You're not in the minority. The difference is apparently he's extremely well-liked behind the scenes and has a lot of respect from the players. His leadership during the Donald Sterling uncertainty bought him a lot of good will.
No-one has ever gotten more mileage out of a single title than him and Paul Pierce.
Yeah I think he is a good people person and respected and good at timeout plays, but I don’t think he is very good tactically and adjustments. Also shouldn’t be GM and Coach but that is a whole other problem. I think it is weird that Philly went from one player friendly coach that didn’t work to another one.
Especially when the issue in Philly appears to be that Embiid and Simmons want to be The Guy and are at loggerheads about it (as their games don't hugely complement one another).

Boston really is the worst.
The Lakers kind of let up tonight, but still a pretty impressive win from Miami with two of their best three players out.
I want to believe.

I hate the Celtics a LOT, especially that years team, but Joe Namath might beat them both in this particular contest.
Joe Namath coached the Celtics? I think he'd win that mileage contest thing hands down in that case!

Jim McMahon would like a word.
I don’t know how anyone can hate KG or KG-adjacent things...
1 - Jimmy Butler
2 - Danny Green is genuinely useless
But seriously, if the Heat win this... shit, if they get it to 7, he deserves a statue.
That was fun
That's why Jimmy Butler forced his way out of Minnesota and Chicago. Because he had that in him.
Win or go home!
The Heat are getting killed out there.
What the hell is happening?
Do they have no more gas? 50 points with only a couple points left in the 3rd?
Did they all watch Dak Prescott almost lose his foot, too?
Even though these Finals were pretty boring, the NBA played one of the better playoffs in my memory and pulled off the “bubble”. Proving that with hard work and diligence Covid can be contained. Hats off to the best league.
Also good for LeBron.
Also Dwight Howard is an NBA champion and he earned it. Wild.
I did enjoy the bubble.
