Grab Railway Empire for sure. Great railroad game.

Tales of Vesperia is back at lowest price ever, $15 on Switch eShop.

It’s not exactly a deal in the normal sense, but if you have a $10 Epic store coupon from the last sale you can get Control season pass for $5.

You got me excited there but when I went to try that it said the coupon is not eligible to be used for that purchase. Pretty sure that is due to the clause "Qualifying games and add-ons must be a minimum price of $14.99 after any promotions and discounts are applied" in the coupon terms of use.

Well that’s weird - sorry, it worked for me about 12 hours ago. List price $14.99 USD, paid $4.99 after the coupon.

Just tried it a minute ago and got it for $5.

Are people generally pleased with the dlc content?

I wonder if the coupon works slightly differently here in Canada. It is a $14 CAD coupon for me and the season pass is $19.99 CAD in the store.

I don't think they apply the coupon consistently all the time tho because during one sale it was going to let me use it for Witcher 3 but I decided to spend it on something else instead. Since that gave me a new coupon I tried to use it for the Witcher 3 again and that time it wouldn't work.

Awesome tip!! Just grabbed the season pass for 5 bucks. Been wanting to try the expansions out

I liked the first. Haven't started the second yet.

I haven’t even installed the base game yet

But I’m a big fan of past Remedy games so I have no problem giving them another $5.

Big thumbs up for the first one from me. I have only put an hour or so into the second one, it’s not quite as compelling from the get-go. It relies upon an interest in Alan Wake to an extent - I liked Alan Wake back in 2010 or whenever but barely remember it now.

Thank you. Looks like I already used my coupon. Will wait for the next sale.

Thanks! I just did this too!

Exactly where I was. It got me to get the DLC finally install it. I haven't fired it up, yet.

ISLANDERS is $1.99 on Steam

Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood is $2.49 on steam. Haven't played it but loved the first game. Most of the reviews say this is better than the first game except for the duels.

Speaking of Remedy, to celebrate their 25th anniversary, the original Death Rally is free on Steam.

Bullets Per Minute is having a launch day sale on Steam: normally $20, 10% off today. Check it out!

Not sure how we feel about posting loopholes, but if you buy and cancel one month PC Game Pass Subs right now you can get up to 3 years for $5 a month.

Hmm, I don't know about that. Is that even a loophole? What's the opposite of a loophole?

I think this is worth posting here:

The Epic Store will give you one of their $10 coupons if you redeem the game on the store after it goes free to play.

Seen here:

If you add Rocket League to your library between September 23 and October 23 you will receive a $10 EGS coupon that is redeemable on games and add-ons $14.99 and up.

Edited for clarity:
Verily, it seems that the often laudeated, simulative ludite merryment which goes by the moniker of one "Football Manager 2020" is being distributed among the paupers in a freely manner at the aptly named storefront "Epic Game Store", which, dear oh me, causes me great disturbance and uncomfort as there's an over abundance of such merry divertments to engage with at the present moment, but alas, it is freely given which thou shall not see the tooth in the horse as the saying goes, says I.

Edited for expanding info:
So there's also "Watch dogs 2" and "Stick it to the man!" for free as well

hhwut?

Watch Dogs 2 is definitely worth snagging and trying out. Much more likeable and interesting characters than WD1, and a genuinely funny (and thought-provoking) story. Also doesn't overstay its welcome. If you like the movies "Sneakers" and "Hackers" and you're not opposed to a GTA style open-world game, you'll probably love this game. Note that it's possible to play through the entire game as a pacifist, which actually makes the game more tense, because stunned enemies will wake back up after some time (or can be woken up by another enemy).
