Trailer Catch All

(more fun than anything else star trek anyway )

100%.

I'm a big Star Trek fan and I liked it too. It looks fun and that's something Star Trek has been sorely lacking for a while now. The humour didn't work for me much, but maybe it'll work better in the context of the episode.

A bit spoilerly, but here ya go:

The entire plot of season 5 was in that trailer. I don’t even watch the show but I now know everything happening in it!

Poirot gets on a moving vehicle. What could possibly go wrong?

I think that looks great. A more classic telling.

I don't remember Murder on the Orient Express doing all that well. But maybe Knives Out renewed company's interest in producing Whodunnits.

Looks like $352.8 million against a budget of $55 million. Not bad at all.

Dang. Well there you go! Good deal!

I would watch Kenneth Branagh play Poirot in anything.

They have once again assembled a spectacular cast, too! Looking forward to it!

Must say, I never expected to hear Depeche Mode as the soundtrack to an Agatha Christie trailer.

I've been watching DC Fandome thing all day, it has been pretty great actually. And that is an awesome looking trailer. The only thing is Cheetah gives me Cats PTSD.

You joke, but by joking you have put it out into the universe, and it is 2020, so that means it will happen.

Bleak.

I am so down. Only about 25-30% of the movie has been shot, due to Covid, but this gives a bit of a taste of things. I can't wait...assuming we can ever actually safely go to the movies again.

This trailer is way better than the US final trailer if for no other reason than the stupid music in the US one.

I am very tempted to go to an IMAX theater in the middle of a pandemic.

Holy cow that Batman cast...

That Batman trailer gives me the chills, loved it! Tenet and WW84 look great too!

I am so happy DC has stooped with all the happy films and is going darker...sarcasm off...

Do they not look at their box office results? Wonder Woman, and Shazam were huge but the dark dark stuff bombed or at least did worse so why keep doing it? Are the execs just depressed and have to push it on the rest of us?

Everything is going to be ok. Snyder has saved Batman. The article said it is a four hour film!

(With heavy sarcasm) Oh, hallelujah.

It does look good.

I'm not sure why they are insisting on theaters only. Did those spring Trolls and other movie releases not make much money?

I'm much more likely to buy Bill and Ted 3 streaming next week than I am to risk my life in a theater for this. I can wait 3-6 months for it to be available digital, just like other movies, if that's what they choose to do. Have already waited 2 months from its original scheduled release, can wait a few more.

EDIT: The Bill and Ted thing is confusing. Some articles say it's a $25 purchase, some claim it's a rental.

My guess is Nolan has earned the clout to demand theaters only.
