This is competitive cup stacking we're discussing here.

Competitive. Cup. Stacking.

One could do worse than be a swinger of birches.

Yes, and it's precisely as pointless and stupid as football.

But with less unavoidable TBI

There's all kinds of competitive sh*t. Unless you've got a reason to be particularly against cup stacking, why is this sticking in your craw so much?

There's an entire genre of video gamers who do nothing but research the fastest way to beat video games, including things like glitches and RNG manipulation for tenths or even hundredths of a second of improvement. A whole big group of them gets together multiple times a year to raise millions in charity dollars. It's sure got absolutely nothing to do with ancient hunter-gatherer techniques. But who gives a f*ck?

In short, don't sh*t in someone's cheerios just because you don't get it.

Allrighty then, not finishing this bowl of Cheerios. Roscoe, are you hungry?

A pretty good summery of Japanese media:

Talk about surprise ending Mantid... lol

I'm sorry, but what's the point of climbing a mountain if you use a ladder to speed it up/ make it easier.

Climbing elitist.

It’s a miracle nobody was crushed or decapitated.

Morning dew.

that's kind of brilliant. Would it be consistent?

I guess that would depend on the climate and weather. For dew to form you need (1) enough moisture in the air and (2) surfaces that cool off enough at night. That is, you need surfaces to hit the 'dew point' temperature. In some places these conditions would be remarkably consistent for much of the year, while in other places you'd get very little. Clear nights would help a lot.

These condensing structures should collect dew on some nights when plants on the ground don't, as they would be somewhat isolated from the 'warm' ground overnight. I've not heard of these before, but it's a pretty good idea.

That's awesome.

I should learn to juggle. It always seems cool when I watch people do it.
