I have to admit that selection of four plays is better than the Seahawks' four

Fixed. And duh. ;)

You guys don't exist until you too put asterisks around your username.

Sadly, all of my teams most famous plays are ones in which the other team does better.

The Chiefs coasters do not include 2-3 Jet Chip Wasp.

Fail.

They did include this, though...

I suppose the Bucs' set would be Ronde picking off McNabb, just repeated four times. Actually, Winston throwing a pick-six on the first play of overtime in the last game of the season to hit 30 INTs does seem pretty appropriate based on franchise history.

Put the Niners coaster set on my wish list. Thanks for the heads up!

Of course, this got me curious, and so I looked down the list and noticed out of 32 NFL teams, there were 31 listed in the coaster menu. Guess who's not? You know who.

In their honor, I've decided upon four plays that could make Jaguars coasters:

NUMBER FOUR - Whoa There Motherf*cker

NUMBER THREE - Big Man Juke

NUMBER TWO - Wide Right

NUMBER ONE - Wide Left

Whoa there.

You're serious? The Jags aren't in there? That's amazing!

It turns out though, if you search the site, the Jags do have a coaster set. The disrespect of being singled out for exclusion in the menu though, that's prime Jaguars fan life right there.

It *is* pretty bad when one of your four coasters is stopping Tyrod Taylor on 4th and 20 in a 10-3 ballgame. I would rather have whoa there motherf*cker myself.

Really though, if we're wanting a legit good play for a coaster, put MJD blowing up Shawne Merriman on a block while Garrard hits Marcedes Lewis for a TD. Who cares if it's not a win to a meaningful game, no Jags game is ever truly meaningful:

Ooooo, they got them in all sports. I know what I'm bookmarking for the holiday season.

I had to look up the Browns set and oh my god, it's worse than the Jags.

ALL 4 plays are from 2018. What the hell?

In the description of the last coaster: "The win also gave Cleveland hope of finishing the season above .500."

Holy sh*t that is the most savage takedown of the Browns I think I've ever seen. Calling plays that won games in a 7-8-1 season the greatest Browns plays. "Relive four of the greatest moments in Cleveland football history", the page says.

No Otto Graham? No Bernie Kosar? No JIM BROWN?

Even if you're sticking with only the "new Browns", how about the 14 unanswered points in the 4th quarter against Atlanta in week 17 2002 to get the new Browns to their first and only playoff berth? William Green scored on a 64 yard run to seal that win:

Meanwhile, I tweeted at them about the Jags menu exclusion and they responded already saying they'll fix it. Cannot let that kind of disrespect stand.

Did they say "oh, maybe that's why no one has bought any of those" and then snicker because they know the real reason?

At least the Timberwolves not being in the menu can be justified as them not wanting to add a row. The Jags didn't make it even with an empty space.

CAM NEWTON TO THE PATRIOTS LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOL

Unsurprising. I don’t understand why anyone didn’t think this would happen.

Well that's something.

I wonder if the hoodie can get Cam all those roughing the QB flags like Brady got?

Hoodie should sign Kap next.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he, behind-the-scenes, advocates for signing Kap at one time. All he cares about is winning games and everything else be damned.

The league may not play a single game this season due to the pandemic, but they'll be damned if they're not still the talk of the American sports world.

Listen, I am entirely here for the post-game pressers.

Like, ENTIRELY.

Dammit. I saw a really funny photoshop of Cam in a minuteman outfit and now I can't find it!

Well the QB competition in New England just got more interesting.

I think anyone penciling Cam in as the starter right now is getting way ahead of themselves, though. I expect Stidham will still get every opportunity to start, and Cam is going to have to show up 100% healthy and back in form to be able to change that.

Don't sleep on the Stidham project. Auburn ruined him, then in preseason last year he looked like a rebuilt player. His arm strength still gives me pause, but he's calm in the pocket, climbs the pocket, and throws with anticipation.

I don't think the Cam signing is even for this year or the entire year. Health is a big factor but I think this is also a feeling out between the two parties. If Belichick and Cam can have a good working relationship and ease him in, while Stidham doesn't impress, then it's essentially a trial contract. The season has a good chance of not even happening so this just gives them official means of figuring each other out.

So, The Patriot Way?

Assuming a season happens, it will be enough for Cam to simply be healthy and on a team and in football shape. Basically the exact same deal as Teddy Bridgewater. He doesn't have to play much (or even at all) but being healthy and active enough for a team to spend a roster spot on him means his value in the 2021 free agency period will be significantly rehabilitated.

I'm skeptical about the Patriots pursuing Cam beyond 2020 even if he does end up starting for them. If he plays well enough to keep, he'll have played well enough to command more attention in the market than I think the Patriots will want to invest. Ultimately I see Belichick developing another young QB as his long-term plan, though who knows, maybe Cam and him just click the way he did with Randy Moss when Moss came to town.

Mostly I think it's good for Cam to simply be on a roster, and put an end to the "why won't anyone sign Cam" discussion. Whenever football does happen, he's got a place to go.

Welp, guess I'm also a Patriots too for a season

(ducks barrage of rotten fruit and beer cans)

It's a win for all parties. Pats get a cheap QB, Cam gets a team, and Belichick gets to play mad scientist again.

I agree w/ Legion - this is probably a one-and-done thing. As I think I've read elsewhere, the Pats are in cap hell and can't afford a $25M-$30M Cam, which is what he'd command if he's a better-than-average starter. They have Stidham on a rookie deal and, assuming Cam starts, gets another year to learn how to play QB.

Smart teams do smart things, and dumb teams like Carolina do dumb things. Sigh.

Uh, so apparently FedEx just told the 'Skins to stop being the 'Skins?

(They play at FedEx field, mind.)

Multiple sites reporting there will be only two preseason games.

Cute that they still think there will be any at all.
