Also, there is something deeply weird about Chelsea now TWICE having basically won the title for other teams in recent memory.

Thank you Chelsea. I'm crying. And off to find my bottle of single malt.

Cheers, mate! I have only been a fan for almost 20 years, but it still feels amazing. Might have some champagne later!

Have fun Liverpool fans.

Congrats, couldn't be more deserved!

So relieved when I woke up and realized it wasn't a dream. Love Klopp's Zoom interview.

Liverpool would win anyway.

Congrats to Liverpool. Well played and well deserved.

We missed some potentially great drama of seeing Liverpool play Man City for the title, but at least we get to see City have to give them a guard of honor. I'll tune in for that reason alone; it's otherwise a bit of a dead rubber, eh?

Alright, so Fulham definitely isn't getting automatically promoted, so I'll just hope for another Playoff run.

That pass by Pablo Hernandez... can I marry it?

Three Watford players are dropped for today's game against Southampton for "health and safety" reasons after one hosted a party the other two attended.

Watford are a point above the relegation zone and need all hands on deck, but having a party is important too.

I'm sorry, what?

Liverpool should sign him.

I believe Mr. Benzema is what is known as "On One" right now.

Oh that's filthy.

That, or the absurdity from Cazorla and Moreno at Villareal?

Well, I will definitely take doing the double over QPR.

Hmmm. Half time and Manchester City are a deserved 3-0 up against Liverpool. I have to wonder when they are playing like this how on earth they lost to Chelsea.

I am also left with the distinct impression most of the Liverpool players are still hungover.

4-0, and I'd agree, although I'd say that, for all of City's frailties, it's been far too early to declare them dead and Liverpool the forever kings like some in the media were doing. Next season should be a great battle, and hopefully, someone else will get their sh*t together enough to make it a 3-way fight.

Fingers crossed. I don’t think Liverpool played badly btw, but City played them off the park. It doesn’t matter in the great scheme of things I don’t think but I do worry - a little - about a Liverpool’s inactivity in the transfer market, while also totally understanding why.

I’ll tell you what though - that Phil Foden is one hell of a player.

They've gotta replace Sane though, that dude, on form, is amazing.

Not good enough for genius booger eater two years ago, though... What a maroon!

On second thought, maybe Low had nonrefundable vacation plans and needed a quick exit from the tournament.

95th-minute winner means, short of a total collapse, Fulham are in the Playoffs again.

Meanwhile, Leeds can taste it now.

Leicester City are 3rd in the Premiership with 58 points. They are 31 points behind Liverpool, who are on 89 points.

They are also 31 points ahead of Aston Villa who occupy the first of the relegation slots in 18th place. Chelsea, in 4th place are closer to relegation than they are to winning the league.

At the start of lockdown Liverpool had 82 points. With their loss At Southampton today, the most Manchester City can get is 81 points this season. Liverpool could have lost every game remaining and still had won the league.

That Southampton v Man City game was a very fun watch. Southampton keeper and defenders made some really good saves to keep City off the board. That seemed to be the 1st game I watched where both teams played hard for all 90min.

Okay, I know this is a fiddly complaint that is at least 20 years out of date, but it's still weird to realize that in the last 12 years, Real Madrid have on La Liga 3 times, but won the Champions League 4 times.

We appear to have already accelerated to "Year 3 Mourinho".

Also, Bruno Fernandes. He's literally changed everything about United.

So true. He has added some much needed creative offense and a desire to want work off the ball that was lacking before. Pogba has also seemed happy and committed to playing defensive center mid. Mason Greenwood has looked very good the last few games once added to the starting 11. They look much improved and the last game against Leicester could be a big one.

Now Leeds need seven points from their last four games. Luke Bamford even scored.

Manchester United have been on a finishing heater since the restart. They're looking good, but they aren't *this good*. But given how bad they've been for years it's quite a nice turnaround for them.
