Welp, looks like you can bag n' tag Norwich.

I assume they'll be back in 2-3 years.

Come on you Spurs!

I wonder how the restart is going in Russia.... .....oh.

I don't understand why managers aren't using at least 4 subs every game.

One of the "recommended procedures" for clubs in the Bundesliga restarting plan was "make sure early on that the roster is large enough to complete the season." Rostov clearly didn't do that (or take quarantining seriously). I have no sympathy.

Thank you so much for sharing that story. I need the distraction after we pissed away a six-pointer.

The Championship is back, and Fulham lost at home to Brentford. Fantastic.

Oh Arsenal, you're so much fun.

Almost did a spit-take all over my keyboard.

Arsenal doing a Spurs.

That Arsenal picture is perfect.

I also enjoyed this: https://twitter.com/HugoTHFC/status/...

Well so much for my ‘put a couple of Sheffield United in my fantasy league team’ strategy then.

Well! That's over.

Lots of rust, and disappointing we couldn't put away any of our chances, but I'll take a draw and a clean sheet against the imminent champions.

Was a surprise to see Gordon get his first start - I hadn't heard anything about him in the U23 squad, but he must have impressed in training. Was definitely pretty gunshy in the opening 20 or so, but did grow into the game as it went on, and nearly put Richarlison through on goal.

Feels like Ancelotti is spending the remainder of the season assessing his roster, and figuring out who needs to be moved on, and what positions we will want to fill - which makes sense, given that Europe is no longer a possibility, and that we should be safe from relegation, regardless.

Man City absolutely wrecking Burnley tonight in a big result for Arsenal's pursuit of 10th place.

About half of Burnley's first team squad is out of contract come the end of June so they're not being selected for these games. As a result Burnley only have seven of the nine substitute roles filled and the average age of the subs is about 12.

Wow, when you're down 4-0 at 60' and you sub a striker out for a defender in. Horse, barn, etc..

Is this something they can clean up? Or are they doomed next season? I can't say I follow Burnley.

They are a solid team with a very limited squad. Unfortunately a number of players are on the last couple of weeks of their contracts too, and it looks like some of them think they can get better deals elsewhere. Time will tell. Sean Dyche's options were very limited tonight, I wouldn't view this defeat that harshly on them. Of all the teams playing so far City look to be the ones that have managed the lockdown best so far.

I think they'll beat Liverpool next week.

The expiring contract stuff is a wrinkle I didn't even think of.

Speaking of which guess who is a expiring contract? David Luiz....

Arteta must want the season to just end. I do. 8 more games is going to feel like an eternity.

Come on you Spurs!

Arsenal have given Luiz a new one-year contract and Cedric Soares a new 4-year contract. Arsenal stenographer David Ornstein says the defenders will be part of Arteta's "rebuilding job." Because nothing says rebuilding like giving a long contract to a merely decent 28 year-old fullback.

Arsenal are going to permanently drop out of the "Big six."

I think that boat has sailed. So long as Kronke gets his money, he doesn't give a damn.

Edit: By all rights West Ham should be going down. They were abject tonight. Problem is Norwich, Aston Villa are worse, and they have Bournemouth to battle out the last relegation place with. As much as I like Eddie Howe and his team, I think West Ham are fractionally better. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out

Liverpool are looking surprisingly toothless post-restart.

I mean, i'm basing that on 115 minutes of football, but still.

Er they’re 2-0 up at half time with a lovely Alexander-Arnold free kick and a sublime through ball to Salah which he buried with a sharp finish. Palace have only had about 30% possession. Liverpool also didn’t get 2 fairly clear penalties.

Toothless?

Literally posted that about 120 seconds before TAA scored.

If you get a chance look up the goal Fabhino has just scored.

Woof!

Leeds United invited their fans to send in pictures of themselves, so the club could enlarge those snaps to life size and put them on the seats so their stadium would look less empty while the closed-door games are happening.

One fan sent in a picture of Osama Bin Laden.

Leeds have noticed now and removed the picture.

I was 15 years old the last time Liverpool won the top division title.

Thank you Chelsea. I'm crying. And off to find my bottle of single malt.

Congrats, Sorb!

Man, I hope Pulisic leaves Chelsea. I can't enjoy seeing him score at all!

It finally happened.

Also, again, LOL ARSENAL.
