Enjoy your new ridiculous forearms.

Gonna have to host that somewhere else?

so far my brake leg is suffering. in an hour long race i'll get sweatier than I normally would, but i have a noodle left leg when i go to stand up

Playing a lot of NASCAR 2003 this weekend with the Fanatec wheel and now my right arm and right thumb are sore from the wheel weight.

I actually took the loadcell back off my brake pedal about a year ago, so I don't have that problem any more.

Just realized what you meant by this.

Here ya go.

Sweet! I wish I had room for stuff like that. It would seriously enhance my racing and truck simulating game.

My desk is tiny.

As for my silly thing...

My last Corsair keyboard lasted a little over three years, which is pretty good for me. I'm hard on keyboards. This one is spill-proof (K68). Hopefully I'll never put that to the test. I'm not too sure about the mouse yet (Corsair Nightsword). It's very light weight, even with all the weights in it.

I totally didn't think this was about telescopes at first.

I built a custom desk with a rotating arm just so I could easily be in and out of my racecars as quickly as possible. And it's space efficient.

Next time speak up in the Dorks Slack. I would've sold you mine for probably considerably less than you paid for that. And it's barely been used.

I ordered some custom novelty socks with my dog's face printed on them. Should arrive in around two weeks.

For me :

For the SO :

Bought me a new computer case. Why is it silly? Because I'm such a huge kid (despite being 42), I couldn't take that my computer was on the left side of the desk and I couldn't see all the cool stuff inside of it.

I did some research and found a case that you can invert. The case is modular so you can take literally everything off of this case and out of it. You flip it around, screw it all back together, and now I have a case with a window on the right side! It did take 5 hours to completely flip everything so I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't patient The case is the Dark Base Pro 900 ORANGE rev. 2 and while not cheap, was worth every penny.

But how can you deal with "EVGA" being upside down?!

Pretend it says VEA3?

It's the most difficult part. I wish there was a way to flip that around!

Paint over it! Or sharpie or black tape cut precisely to size.

Wrap the whole card in a scarf!

I love EVGA cards.

Remove the plexiglas panel and invert it. it looks like it may be bonded to other components, but everything can be disassembled if you are determined enough, and if you are both determined enough and patient enough it can even often be reassembled*

Did you buy a cemetery plot?

Almost, a small chapel with 3800m2 of trees and a bell tower.

Do you have trouble getting someone into the bear costume each year?

I don't understand this one, please elaborate - the only bear custome I know of was in The Shining.

The Triangle structure reminded me of the one in Midsommar. A person is put into a bear costume in the movie.

Ahh.. still have to see that movie

The bell tower looks like the perfect place to hide out from the herd immunity zombies.

Exactly! I have no idea what I exactly will do with the plot, chapel or bell towers. But this one was too cool to let go (and cheap).

First church of the gwjers?

I bought a set of AirPods Pro. The price still feels ridiculous but, as someone that has Apple devices everywhere, it just fits into the ecosystem snuggly. Being able to leave my phone behind and have it automagically switch to my watch for a jog is just awesome. This was not a simple process with my typical Bluetooth earphones.

I also quite like the noise cancellation and transparency (pipes outside sound in) modes. Quite a neat feature that I’m seeing for the first time here.

I would love to visit, but you have to promise not to smash my head open with a wooden mallet.
