Post a video, entertain me!

Hangry bear.

Today I learned: Brian Setzer is a much better guitarist than he lets on

Gun fails set to "We Will Rock You".

I'm particularly fond of the guy one-handing shotguns like he's playing Wolfenstein.

Setzer's one of my favourites. While his guitar playing with the Stray Cats was good, it really took off when he started the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

Vernon Reid (who is a national treasure) tweeted this about him:

Setzer plays far below his abilities to maintain a persona.

and:

Setzer KNOWS the Outer Frequencies, but will NEVER Go There. Not that he has to. But he KNOWS. That’s all I’m sayin’.

Are you kidding? Check out some Brian Setzer Orchestra. He's phenomenal. His popular music is a shadowy reflection of his real talent. He's the kind of guy who could go back to the Enchantment Under the Sea dance and blow them away with their contemporary music *and* kick Marty's ass with an insane solo.

Oh, and Tomoyasu Hotei is no slouch himself.

The last song in that set, Take A Chance On Love, is just FIRE.

I was chatting with some friends about twin stick shooters, and I mentioned Beat Hazard is one of my favorites, and I remembered I had a video on my YouTube channel.

Then I noticed that video is TEN YEARS OLD.

So here's a blast from the past for all you ancient goodjers:

p.s. Shoutout to Ian Dorsch for the most awesomest GWJ theme with Eric Johnson-esque guitar work. Ian rocks!

This has kind of a low key Lonely Island vibe, but using country music:

Let's get this day started!!

Huey Lewis and the News---I Want a New Drug:

SNL is killing it right now

I'm about 80% sure this is not serious.

Turns out I've been listening to podcasts at 1.2x speed for so long, it took my brain all of 30 seconds to realize Ian wasn't playing the theme at an "extra slow" pace, I'm just used to the Alvin-and-the-chipmunks version of it.

This is what my sister calls TV. Watching Driver's View of Trains going through various countries. It's actually pretty relaxing.

Now try Euro Truck Sim 2. It's easier to see the appeal after watching a few of those.

But it is a tic tock so I can't embed. Still if you like his movies you will like this.

DJ Trevor Nygaard did something similar with the Bergen Line in Norway a few years back except he and his friends set it to music.
