NFL 2020: Draft

I know some wide receivers that could use that sweaty hands treatment.

I can't handle Goodell's butchering of names.

Dang, Chris Ballard has like a sports bar setup at his house.

Jags take Laviska Shenault to pair with DJ Chark.

I preferred Mims but I like Shenault better than Higgins and Pittman, probably 2nd best of the 2nd round WRs.

PFF is super high on Shenault, 18th on their board.

LOVE the Giants pick of Xavier McKinney! Great value at a strong needed position.

Seattle trades up for DE Darrell Taylor.

I was afraid they were gonna grab Josh Jones. Nope, still won't protect Wilson.

Well, sh*t.

For Yetur Gross-Matos, playing DE in the NFC South will be like jumping from gen ed classes to a PhD program. Yikes. Hope he's up to the challenge.

Eagles select Jalen Hurts.

... why?

Beat me to it... Do they want to move on from Wentz?

(checks Eagles roster)

... oh. I have no idea. Trade bait? Or maybe Certis is hurt worse than anyone knows? He's kind of the NFC East version of College Tua.

Jalen looks so happy.

I mean, this tells me Philly has no confidence in Wentz's ability to stay on the field, even though he played 16 games last year, so, *shrug*

ESPN seems to think they will use him as a / player. Jalen "Cordell Stewart" Hurts?

That was mind bogglingly stupid.

Given that the current backup quarterback inspires no confidence in me, I can kind of understand the decision.

Not a CB.

It's a failed picked.

Ravens getting JK Dobbins is sick.

Shame he'll be awful to own in fantasy because of the RBBC but now they need to address the missing OG spot.

I am convinced the Pats will not draft a QB as a eff ewe to all of us.

What catching Jalen Hurts passes is like:

Packers really aren't drafting for 2020. Feels like they just drafted their Aaron Jones replacement (whose contract is up after this year).

In all fairness, I am not entirely sure that anyone is drafting for a 2020 season.

I'm not sure why Carolina traded up to get a safety from an FCS school but nothing in 2020 makes any sense so.

Goddamn, Trey Wingo, why you gotta do Santa Cruz like that?

Spoiler:

I mean, it's not wrong, but still...

I said I can kind of understand the decision.

Though really at this point I'm just going to settle for getting into Eagles fandom at a good time and preparing myself for the inevitable disappointment that'll follow the rest of my life.

I see it's not enough to season the wound with salt, you gotta let it brine a bit so it really soaks in deep.

Seattle finally takes an offensive lineman, no tackle though.

Wonder why everyone is so down on Josh Jones. I mean, he is a project but has tools you usually have to draft early.

And there goes Jones, one pick before Jacksonville. :/

Did he fail a drug test or something? Health issue?
