Random thing you love right now that doesn't deserve its own thread

We have a (neglected) thread for electronic music

But I would never resurrect a thread that is 5 years old oh wait

Alan Silvestri's score for Avengers Endgame. So perfect. Especially the music for the funeral at the end.

The real hero was the friends we made along the way!

The smell of superglue

This guy named Steve once superglued his nostrils closed. He probably liked the smell too.

Although I won't say I "love" it, I kinda like the new Facebook design. It's a little large, but makes way better use of space and I dig the colorful new icons.

Loathe-within-a-love for being back on Facebook, which besides touching base to check in with a few people, has already devolved into having a few drinks at night and sh*t-posting a couple of conservative "friends" I have. That will likely get old real quick.

Don't worry, they'll quickly sort you back into an echo chamber

Not really liking the Facebook layout that much, it's just a phone layout inside a desktop browser.

On an ultrawide monitor, it's like 70% empty space.

Do you maximize your browsers on your monitor? I just upgraded to a 28 inch monitor and I don't run anything maximized except my calendar.

Edit: I just tried it and I think I see what you mean. Although there was still a lot of empty space, Twitter kept its sidebars directly against the feed whereas Facebook's were WAY out at the edge with two huge gaps between the sidebars and the main feed. Looks ridiculous.

On the ultrawide, no, but I do tend to run browser windows a bit wider than normal.

People are still on Facebook?

My mom’s on Facebook.

Spoiler:

I was going to say your mom’s on Facebook, but it felt too snarky. I went with something that I know to be a true statement.

Yeah, my mom's on Facebook. My whole family: brothers, their children, my children... Oh well.

The Zuck can suck it, though. I'm never going back.

Some of those people have strange night outs...

This.

I was gifted Pathfinder Kingdom out of the blue, and it has to be the best D&D game I've seen in a decade or more. Now if I could finish grading this crapton of online homework, I will happily get back to it.

Homework attacked by dog! Saving throw 1d20, must get a 20 or else the homework is a goner and you must do it again.

Kettlebells and audio books. Kettlebells for working out at home and audio books for the ability to listen to great books on the road/workout.

NO! MY MOM’S ON FACEBOOK.

Spoiler:

WABBIT SEASON!

Looney Tunes. Rawk's spoiler comment reminded me that I've been steadily drip-feeding my children the best of Looney Tunes from a DVD boxed set I had bought years ago. I absolutely love the pure joy that comes from my kids laughing hysterically at Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

Kingmaker? Oh great, there's another game on my wish list. How come I never heard of this one before?

Right, Kingmaker. Or Kingdomaker. Or something. In which apparently you can randomly find a troll.

Spoiler:

Don't attack the troll if your party is all level 2. Back quietly out of the forest.

i mean that's just advice for life in general.

I would suggest not engaging trolls at all, regardless of your level.
