Ghost Recon: Wildlands - Catch All

Very much so. Your best bet in getting into a game is the same day as an update and up to 2-3 days afterwards. Any later and it becomes a ghost town.

Sad. It's like SOCOM and Siege blended together.

I absolutely loved playing this game as a jump in, jump out for 30 minutes at a time single player experience, kind of like a slightly less over the top Just Cause. Unfortunately I kept running into an issue where the game wouldn't recognize my save game. I found 3 different workarounds people had listed as this appeared to be a fairly common Uplay issue. Load from cloud, don't load from cloud, rename the save files, etc. I'd get it to detect the save maybe once every dozen tries. I finally just deleted the game because I was spending more time trying to get it to find my save than actually playing it.

I've had the game launch twice and not remember my savegame.

Quitting and re-launching brought it back each time.

I kill those guys first.

So this is on sale y'all, and I now have a PC that can run it. Worth if it all I wanna play is single player?

I only played it single player and had a lot of fun. It's a big campaign.

Single player campaign is fun and I would recommend it. The further you go the side missions do get a little repetitive but increasing the difficulty once it feels to easy is always a good way to keep it fresh. Start out on arcade or next easiest setting to get a feel for it then increase as needed. Also if something is too hard reduce difficulty if needed as well. I enjoy being able to mix it up with run and gun or tactical snipe depending on my mood.

Fine y'all sold me. Thanks!

I recently played the campaign solo and it was absolutely worth it. I keep popping back in here and there to work on Tier Mode.

It's a great game, highly recommend it! The maps and areas are VERY diverse with a lot of customization.

I'm excited since I can actually run it well.

Welp, you guys were right. This game is super fun, and funny as hell in multiplayer. Also it's stupidly gorgeous. Might be the prettiest game I've seen on my new rig.

Watched the Breakpoint reveal, thought to myself that it would be nice to give a Wildlands a second chance ...but only on sale. Saw Wildlands on sale. Bought Wildlands.

Have to say it’s pretty nice to be half an hour into the campaign and I’m already piloting a helicopter with my crew and raining down hell on a convoy.

My band of ghost yahoos is hardly a stealthy unit. Then again I haven’t yet noticed a huge penalty for going in guns blazing.

Depends on the difficulty setting. The higher it is set the more of a penalty you will see. Arcade and Normal there is minimal threat but once you go beyond that you can get overwhelmed and one shot much easier if you don't do some initial scouting of the objective.

The good thing is that you can adjust this on the fly so can cater your difficulty and rambo tactics to how you feel that play session.

Their last update brings in 8 player BR!

What DLC would people recommend?

None, really. Base game + the content that came as free updates is plenty. The DLC is all non-essential.

I would agree with Legion. The base game is great fun easily 40-60 hours of content.

Great! Thanks!

Copied that link to the Breakpoint section since this is Wildlands.

Bought this today. Had a blast with my son. I love the fluidity, being able to pick up missions or not in mostly whatever order I want. And just grabbing vehicles rather than having a big unlock system is nice.
