Sadly, no. I hope they show up soon and believe they were there in some of their earlier testing because lot of the content creators said so, and i swear i saw documentation that said the same, but there's no mention of it now.
There is an option to not fill your squad, I'm wondering if you check this box whether you'd just play solo. Of course, the other teams wouldn't be solo though.
I've played two games of this now. Both times I wandered around for five minutes looking for a gun before being shot by the first enemy I came across. I don't even like Battle Royale games, god knows why I got excited by this
Some rambling, random thoughts...
I've played a few times with my son. I have no idea where to land, and I feel like we'd do better if we learned one area to land in really well. I actually like the huge learning curve if I feel like I can actually get there, and this one so far feels like I'll keep doing better.
Weird how i seem to know how to play better from Apex (like when to run the freaking heck away). I had a few moments I have not had in Apex, namely me getting an LMB while a whole squad came at me with starter pistols. Wiped them (not something I do in Apex, other than a gold havok on Skulltown in Season One). Wiped a squad that was camping a house.
It's great to play a game like this early, when so many people are as clueless as you are.
I need to know the guns better. I seem better with some kind of assault rifle for medium, and some kind of SMG for short. I've been let down by low level shotguns for short range...probably are some awesome shotguns for that.
So while I'm fairly bad at the game, the free to play thing has brought in a buhzillion people that are really, really bad at the game, so...that's cool.
I should have learned my lesson in Apex, and applied that here. When your random teammate abandons your nice high ground to either rush, loot, finish off the kill...don't. If he's down...he's down. Just don't. I knew that, but felt obligated to help the guy, and of course, got third partied, fouth partied, and died around the fifth squad joining the fray. From my nice cover on a roof....I would have been the fifth party...
Great tips, thanks! Warzone is making me itch to get Modern Warfare now

Which is probably exactly what they're hoping for!

I played a game of this yesterday, having never played a BR before. Not my thing. I’m wondering how much crossover there is between CoD fans and this type of game. Too much downtime for this fan.
Finally played tonight, had fun! It was quite different from Apex Legends. I loved the gun from the first default loadout on the supply package.
I've tried a few BR games in the past couple years just to see what the fuss is about, and while I can see the appeal in the massive scope and Hunger Games concept, for a scrub like me who will never, ever be good enough to win one of these games by virtue of skill on my part I just don't see the point.
At least in objective FPS multiplayer modes (Domination is my favorite in CoD games), while I may usually be little more than cannon fodder, I can at least contribute to a team victory on occasion, so that's the carrot I chase.

Different games and different modes work for different people, I'd say. I thought PUBG sounded really cool before it came to console, and then played a ton of Fortnite for a couple months. I never actually won a game during that time, until the day I won a solo match, at which point I felt I'd beaten the game, and quit.
Now I play a ton of Apex Legends. Battle Royales work for me because the random loot and encounters add an element of exploration to an FPS, and I know you love exploration as well.

You don't have to be an outright killer to help. Marking, reviving and pitching in with cash and equipment all goes a long way.
Staying alive for respawns is a big deal. I've had squad down to one guy and within a few minutes back to three with decent kit in place. This recycling of people keeps the game much busier than other BRs.
I've won a couple of games and I'm decidedly average. One of the wins was with a very average squad. I think anyone can win- keep a squad of three together to the end and there is a good chance you are up against part of a squad. You can always get lucky with the final circle. I've lost games as the circle disappears up a hill I couldn't climb.
I have found keeping a UAV for the late game very helpful.

WZ has 2 modes. BR and Plunder. Plunder is objective based on a large scale. Team with the most money at the end wins.
Ooh. Plunder does sound interesting!
I know some are interested in solo play. Ask and ye shall receive.
I am really enjoying Plunder as a way to level my guns and because it offers some great Sniper mini-games (of my own creation). Good fun!
My son and I are playing Plunder together. It's good for leveling up guns and for learning the map. We pretty much suck, yet come in 5th to 9th place a lot. I think you can win by killing people and taking their cash. I think you can also win by ignoring the gun part, looting buildings, and ballooning the cash as much as possible. Once you're in top 3, though, it sucks as you stay there even if you have no cash on you, until someone passes you...
So I've been playing this quite a lot in the last few days with my bf. Having a really good time, out of the BR games I've played, I think it's the one I click with best. Mainly because the gun play is straight forward and doesn't involve with building I can't keep up with (Fortnite) or super powers (Apex) so I'm able to kill folk.
Playing solos the other day and and got a contract against me, I was holed up in a room with one enterence, just waiting, hearing the footsteps outside. Pure tension. I won the fight.
Anyway I'm playing on the xbox, so if anybody else wants to join, that would be great. Gamertag onewild99.
That’s a great point about Fortnite and how straight forward Warzone is. Been really have a lot of fun with it as well without worrying about building a wall or stairs etc. The gun play is tight, the weapons hit and sound with punch and the overall experience getting back into the game if knocked out helps as well.

Had a contract against me yesterday, so I went into an attic and placed a Claymore at the top of the stairs. It scared him back down, and I pursued. We exchanged somw shots, but ultimately he ran away.
I'm Fedaykin98 on Xbox. If I don't accept an invitation, I'm probably already in a group. Some of my IRL friends who won't play Apex are really enjoying this.
This is the most fun I've had with a shooter since Bad Company 2 and COD4.
Getting an airstrike, going to the bottom floor of the building of the building where you know there are snipers and calling it by looking at the ceiling above. Getting 2 kills, just beautiful
Played for a couple of days with a friend, yesterday was our first victory and it was pretty fun, definitely a more enjoyable experience with people you know as expected (previously only played like half hour). Does regiments gives you any benefit? Is there any GWJ regiment?
