Who keeps hiring Leto?
Anyway, I am intrigued due to Keaton, so good job Sony.
Why is nobody talking about Michael Keaton at the end of the Morbius trailer?! Did everyone stop watching the trailer until the end (as I first did)?
I imagine the unspoken back and forth between studios is something like this:
Sony: Woo hoo! We did it! Morbius is in the MCU!!!!
Marvel: No it's not.
Sony: Yes it is! Didn't you see what we did? We put Michael Keaton in the movie! All of our Spider-verse movies are now in the MCU! Yeah!!!
Boy are you going to be surprised when you discover Keaton is actually playing Bruce Wayne.
"You wanna get nuts? Come on! Let's get nuts!"
IMDB has no character listed for Michael Keaton but they also have JK Simmons listed as J Jonah Jameson (rumored).

The rumor is that he's linking together the Spider-verse going forward, ala Nick FURY in the MCU. So you'll see him in most if not all of them.
Is it true? Don't know. But makes a bit of sense that he's one that can drop expository info via new stories, etc.
EDIT for stupid brain.

Interesting. I like it. Good timing for some allegory on yellow journalism in the age of social media.

Where's the Nic Cage thing coming from? Ghost Rider?

I'm pretty sure it was just a brain fart for Nick Fury, but the image was too apt to pass up
Nic Fury?

Haha. Don't know how I did that. Obviously I meant Nick FURY
Easy mistake to make. Simple word association. Cages make me furious, too.
Nobody calls Fury Nic. Or Nicholas. Or Mr. Fury. Are you a Skrull?
Put the bunny back in the box.
(cuz its a flerken)

NSFW audio.
as we all know, the best kind of audio.
I will not be surprised if that bit of Keaton in the trailer is the same amount of Keaton as there is in the movie.
Morbius looks stupid
That one shot of him is almost perfect replication of him from the comics.

I'm just wondering why nobody's talking about Matt Smith. Guess he's jealous that all the other Doctors were able to cash in on that comic book money.
Also, if Jared Leto spent all of Suicide Squad method acting the Joker, do you think he spent this one stalking his co-workers through the studio? I'm thinking less Dracula and more What We Do In the Shadows.

I'd be more worried about him sending his co-stars blood bags.
It's more likely he'll bite them.

I suppose that WOULD be more "method".

He spent the shoot running around yelling "BAT!"
Here's the Marvel Disney+ Superb Owl spot, in case anyone missed it.
Doctor Strange 2 Announcement Breakdown - Marvel Phase 4 Spiderman Easter Eggs
Black Widow has been delayed indefinitely due to coronavirus.
I wonder if post-production wasn't finished and they had to stop work.
Maybe. More likely there just aren't theaters to release into. Disney is betting that life won't be back to "normal" by May. Seems a safe bet.
It’s probably that, but it’s an interesting point that a whole lot of similar projects, no matter what phase they’re in, will likely be delayed.

Yeah, the list of shows and movies that have stopped production is long. Including the Marvel Disney+ stuff I think. Wheel of Time on Amazon, etc.

And I suppose they may think that selling it on digital platforms instead would be waving a white flag about the future of the movie theater industry.
I think Regal has closed their theaters and AMC is only showing at half capacity (if they've also not already closed).
