Woo! First!

Love these Game of the Year episodes.

That feeling when they're trashing Rage 2 while you're playing Rage 2 and listening to the podcast.

I get the hate but I've found such a groove in the game, I'm like a techno-killer!

Also playing it because it's on Gamepass on PC.

If I start a game that's been out for a few years, and I really get into it, I will often pull up the GWJ CC ep for it and listen while playing.

i was going to write a little one-shot TTRPG for "Control" , for GWJ Day (Based on the Tales From the Loop rules set and focused on Agents investigating Altered Object sightings) but sadly I ran out of time. It's on the to-do list though!

To be fair, it's a killer Gamepass addition.

No mention of Sekiro, my personal game of the year? I'm kind of surprised. But I also acknowledge that From Software games are a niche. The game is a masterpiece but I wonder if the difficulty turns too many people off.

edit: Spoke too soon

Hee hee hee, we didn't want to 'spoil' it.

Leveling up the monk class sounds really grindy.

Here's the top picks list for 2019 for the GWJCC crew!
