Warframe

Yup, argon was the only one I farmed, the day of...

My railjack is complete.... it’s huge, and beautiful! (That’s what she said). My (chosen) daily reward was 12hr credit booster... yer darn tootin’ I spent a few rounds in the index - I’m pretty much back to where I was before Railjack.

I am one part away from the railjack.

My goal for Sunday will be to get my credits back above 1 million.

I guess I will actually need to invest in the archwing mods now.

I'm on course to get the warframe slot from Nightwave this week. This will be my last slot for a bit, and I have a few warframes stacked in the foundry (Loki Prime, Revenant, Wukong Prime, Zephyr Prime). Not sure which to claim tbh.

All frames are fun to the right person. Out of those "Loki" is probably the most useful but mainly for Sortie spies etc. Really depends what you are looking and need for.

Loki or wukong.

EDIT:

Ember is free from twitch prime. so free warframe slot at least.

I thought it was just an ember skin....?

Nope, regular ember with an installed reactor and a warframe slot.

Nope I now have two embers.

Thanks for the tip on Wukong. He's really fun.

Now the dilemma of who to use my new umbra forma on. My first went into Saryn Prime, which I've had no cause to regret. I'm thinking Garuda or Nidus, but leaning toward Garuda because her kit is fun and effective, and I've already played Nidus a fair bit.

Are your warframe umbral mods at max? If not, keeping them at max-2 allows setups as long as you forma all the other slots. You don't lose alot from maxed and it's still a significant step up from normal mods.

Intensify is 10/10 but the other two are 8/10 - that last step is really pricey. Apparently you can build Garuda without vitality (Primed Flow + Quick Thinking, since her 3 is % based having a larger health pool isn't that helpful) so I'll probably try that first, and add the umbral forma only if I need Umbral Vitality.

Who else has plans for their umbra forma?

Trying to remember how many I have/had... 3? Maxed Intensify, max-2 Vitality, and a barely touched (if at all) Fiber.

My first Umbra Forma went into Nidus - he really benefits from the power and health boost. Only a very mild regret, because he’s not Prime. Another one I juuuust put in Oberon Prime - I hadn’t used him in quite a while, but bumping his strength boosts his damage and survivability - his 1 hits harder, the 2 hurts more, 3 boosts survivability, and the 4 also hits harder.

I’m still sitting on 1 (just got it from this NW), not sure who I want to put it on.... I’m tempted to put it on Octavia, but she’s not a Prime...

Yeah, I have Oberon Prime and he seems like a good fit, but I never use him really. Nidus is still my second most-used frame (I bought him when I first started playing). He was fantastic when I only had low MR weapons and mods, but I hadn't used him lately because I don't do too many long missions.

Still, he was the best candidate, so I used my umbral forma on Nidus. His Prime will be out in 18 months I think, if the schedule holds, but that's a reasonably long time in gaming.

Yeah, pretty sure it’s a looooong wait before Nidus, or Octavia, get Primed

FYI warframe empyrean dropped

First Railjack mission run. It was fun and with a random group we kind of fell into a groove. We have a lot of stuff to unlock in the research now. Guess I will be running railjack missions for a bit.

I am building into engineer/gunner classes right now.

Just a heads up, all mk 1 researches are started and funded. Everything shouod be ready Sunday night. I'm away for the weekend for work, so if someone else gets the chance to get resources for the mk 2 set that would be awesome. I'll do what i can to help when works done.
As for specializing, I'm thinking engineer first, then not sure.

Oh geez, I didn't realise it was coming so soon! My Cephalon is still cooking, let alone my Railjack. Those Mutagen Masses were a real bottleneck.

Was able to try one mission so far, it was definitely fun albeit with plenty of rough edges.

One thing I do wish is that they had boosted archwing XP gain somehow within the railjack missions. The new flight model helps but the old archwing starchart nodes aren't great to play on. I'm sure loads of people are going into railjack with a poorly outfitted archwing, I know I am.

Where are we at the GWJ clan in terms of capacity? Crouton and I have been toodling around in a two person clan for years now. Railjack seems like a reason to consolidate if its practical.

What are some good names for our new ships?

We have room. Drop your in game names and I'll send out invites.

I named mine blazing horizon.

“Heart of Gold”

As far as Intrinsics - the first 2 to 3 levels are really cheap, so I’ll get L2 in each (minimum), the jump from 0 to 1 is HUGE. I’ll decide which one to focus on, a little later. Piloting has some really “generally useful” ones, stuff that you’d get a lot of use out of (speed boost, dodge, dodge cancels lock-on), especially if you’re going to solo (at any point) - I’ve been able to solo the first zone (can’t remember if I tried it on the second).

I've mainly been doing the crewship killing and base invading work. Gauss is remarkably good at it and he's my main. so i think I'm gonna go for tactics and gunnery for the archwing boosts at 8 with 1 in pilot and engineering for in ship utility. though i am still really tempted by the later engineering bonuses so maybe i'llo end up going with that instead of gunnery.
I'm gonna just join other ships for now until we get the mk 3 gear and i've gathered a good selection of railjack mods.

Yeah, I've just been joining pugs mostly so far, not sure why I burnt 6 mil credits to build my own railjack ... oh well, The New War will probably need it, and I am getting blueprints and upgrades. I've done all the Earth missions but haven't moved to Saturn yet.

So far railjack is 'fine' as far as it goes. The main issue is that games like Sea of Thieves can be great fun with a good group. People you know reasonably well or who can play along well together and coordinate a bit. In Warframe though, mostly you don't even have a group, much less a good group. Public missions consist of 4 individuals who are vaguely going in the same direction: fine for a Capture or Exterminate fissure, less so for a game mode that requires coordination. If you're fortunate you might get "gg" at the mission end screen.

It feels like dropping Empyrean gameplay into Warframe, which is full of minimally-social and solo gamers, is asking a lot of the player base. It's also yet another content island, despite being presented as a solution to content islands.

I don't hate it, but it's not what I play Warframe for.

Got back in and dropped out of the clan. Turns out in warframe I'm danjool.

Tried to invite says it's pending I am guessing someone else got to it first.

Thanks I snatched it up, but I have to build that dojo key that takes 12 hours. You'd think they'd remove that gating if they're attempting to shift the player base from lone-wolf to pirate levels of cooperation.

They do it to stop people from just jumping clans every time they want to grab a research.
