Warframe

Ash Prime finished, Vauban Prime, minutes away. Another lich downed, electric Seer (thought it was, but is not hit-scan). Still missing a couple of their weapons, and only have 2 of the 5(?) ephemera.

Poured everything I could into my current clan’s research for railjack - between the (I only ever saw) 3 of us, we got that complete. Got my own copy of the cephalon, which took some time getting (especially, the mutagen mass) materials, but he’s finished. Ran his first mission, and got my fuselage started :). The first two new resources - Cubic Diodes and Carbides - are dropped by eximus on two different planets. Also spent a few minutes mining on the Plains for the next new resource (it’s an uncommon drop from the red veins), pustules (or something). The last new resource... the wiki hasn’t been updated to tell me where to farm it Copernics - mined from red veins in the Orb Vallis, but I’m still a ways out from needing that. I forgot to add that it’s 1M credits to build EACH PIECE - 6M for all the parts... I have enough, right now, but there will be some High Index in my future.

As for plat-spending: I bought the Titania skin, it’s very pretty, and I use her quite a bit, so it’s a nice addition

I’m pretty excited for Ivara Prime - I like her jellyfish look, and I use her for spies and animal captures, so she’ll get plenty of use.

Saw the Switch version was giving away some anniversary items so logged in for the first time in months. But I don't think I'm going to jump back in now. Just not feeling it.

Well ivara may be one I buy because I think I will want some plat after I buy the credit booster for the 6 million.

Ivara is a frame I love but her play style is too slow for groups.

Jumped back into the game after awhile. I think, for the time being, I will be going solo for my quests and missions for the most part since I do not know the maps yet and the party ones people just fly right by me and waiting for a teammate to open the door while I am still figuring out where the heck to go. I think that is my number 1 biggest complaint of this game. It's the insane quickness of flying through missions. I get it, it helps with farming but man do I still miss the cover mechanics of ME3 multiplayer and just grinding in that game. It was so much more fun than just blazing through missions, reload, rinse repeat.

Different games, different styles, i get it but man if you are new to the game or haven't played in a long time, it can be intimidating.

I found when I just want to play at my pace I either go solo or ask the clan members if anyone wants to go slow.

I agree that sometimes it is more fun to play at my own pace.

Agreed, a bit of both is ideal. Still love the game and have a ton of hours in it but it's the coming back to and forgetting the maps that gets me every time

The maps are always different, tho....

Started doing Index runs in between bits of Nightwave, I'm up to 3 mil now. A lot of Index will be played this week, though I'm not really seeing why it HAD to be 1 mil credits per Railjack part. The other mats seemed pretty ok though overall. The biggest issue is the lack of Invasions giving rewards like mutagen mass.

Can someone with appropriate access (greater than Officer) take a look at the PC clan and see if it's practical to drop us below 30 people and downsize? A quick glance showed plenty of accounts over 100d not played and below level 10.

So the great gwj purge begins.

They could always reapply after the research-tedium.

Feel free to drop me. I'm always thinking I should come back, but it's not likely. I think a 60 day inactivity window is reasonable.

I plan to index a lot this weekend to get the 6 mil for the ship plus another million or so to craft all the stuff we need for the research.

I spent all my credits buying the blueprints so I should be able to help get the room researched soon.

Issue is Crinkle and I are only 2 officer or higher active and we do not have rank enough to remove people. Again as said someone can just re apply if they start playing again. The new Railjack just has very high research costs and if we drop down to 30 from 38 it go's from 10x to 3x (x=base cost) which is a ton. If we do that Crinkle and I can easily finish the primary research ( I think the railjack specifically is per person but the cephalon needs to be done first and is dojo wide. At least that is my understanding).

The people that can remove or promote Crinkle or I to handle it are

Laarrs
evilseed
MrDevil_909
Lt.Warhound

Need to be rank General or Warlord.

As crinkle said there are easily like 8 - 10 people that have not been on in over 6 months and below MR 8 that probably just bounced off game. No reason to remove people that have high chance of coming back and as wink said we can always add them back after.

Okay, I'll update the game and promote the two of you.

*salutes*

Congratulations General Escher and General Crinkle

And now I've launched the game I want to play again. Also, 75% plat discount, so that's tempting.

Nice! Probably because I’m on it too often, the best I’ve seen is the 50%, most of the time it’s the piddly 20% coupons. I’d probably throw another $10-$20 in if I got a 75%

If I take a solid month or two break I get a 75% when I get back.

Yeah just sucks for console, discount in game store but not plat.

So the culling has taken place down to 26 without removing any over mastery 10 or that has been active in last 200 days.

However, the promotion worked from that but when I go to menu in dojo and hit reduce clan tier I don't have permission for that. Which apparently is warlord only. I will try to PM Lt.Warhound see if he can do it or promote someone.

As I'm one of two people in my friend's ghost clan, building the dry dock was easy. I'm currently building my second railjack part; timers are 12h so with work I can do one per day, which is ok in terms of acquiring the few new mats needed.

What I'd really like is a credit booster as a sortie or login reward.

I promoted the generals and two others to Warlord rank, so we have a total of 5.

To reduce the clan size from Storm to Shadow (to reduce the various research costs) will require destroying the Storm barracks, I think. Until that is done, we can't reduce the clan from Storm. I tried.

I'm running brain fogged these days, cancer is a Female Doggo, so I'm reluctant to destroy anything. So, if one of the new warlords would care to verify this, then go ahead and destroy the Storm barracks. This takes 2 hours, and refunds at least some of the cost of the room to the clan Vault.

Yeah, the problem is the cost is 10x of a ghost clan but we only have 4-6 active players at the moment. If we paid same as ghost clan i would of just instantly put it all in liek i do with most of new research (and others do when they see it first). The railjack is just much harder resources with fieldron and mutagen mass.

I'll take a look because we needed that for the overal lab, might need to rework some stuff to fit everything but should be able to make it. Hope you feel better and TY.

Let me know if you need any resources. I am wondering if we will need to delete some things then rebuild the smaller version.

Thanks after further review looks like all barracks does is control how many people you can have. So removing has no bad effects. I have started removal. I should still be awake when it's done to lower clan tier.

Clan tier has been lowered. We are not able to raise again for 60 days (not that i think that will be issue).

The cephalon research for rail jack is underway.

Turns out Warframe is still a sh*t load of fun. But after a couple of years out of regular play so much has changed.

The final piece of my railjack is building. Getting enough of the new materials wasn't a problem, main issues were the 15 argon crystals (lots of Mot sessions meant I could also farm the 60/60 toxin mods from Corrupted Vor) and the number of Index runs needed to keep the credits flowing.

The Tactical Potato video posted above has a breakdown of all the required mats about half way through, so you can check you have everything. The only thing you can't really farm in advance is the argon.
