Wish the situation was actually Palaces winner being ruled back so it wouldn't look like im biased.

They cover it on MOTD. It's roughly 1:55 before the ref comes to a decision while the crowd have no clue what's going on. He also has an option to use a sideline screen and just defers to remote.

VAR is here to stay but they definitely have some major kinks to iron out.

Watching All or Nothing and we really don't spend enough time talking about how badly Mourinho f**ked up by letting De Bruyne go.

Mourinho’s ego means he has to be the top
Dog at any club he’s managing. He let De Bruyne go because I think knew if he let him stay it would be all about De Bruyne, not Mourinho.

Or maybe he just made a mistake?

First time I've seen this.

The more I listen to Lampard speak the more I think he has his head on right to becoming a top class manager. Kudos.

I did even think transfer banned & Frank Lampard managed Chelsea might be the 3rd-best team in the league this year. He's done a really good job.

Oh it was definitely a mistake, I’m just saying there’s a reason why he made it.

As for that VAR penalty. Learn the rules!

I was trying to say that I think you're reading too much into it.

Just won't get in.

What is it with Arsenal, Liverpool and the occasional total absurdity game?

Oxlade-Chamberlain smacked in a 25-yarder and you could argue that it was only the third-best goal.

The best game I didn't watch ever?

Entertaining. The defending wasn’t good though and in all honestly Liverpool were a little lucky. Still the younger player all had their moments on both sides, some great goals but I’m not sure either manager learned a lot

The team that lost 9-0 to Leicester are beating Manchester City after an hour. Also Liverpool losing to Aston Villa. Because football.

Southampton held on all the way to 70 minutes.

Villa made it all the way to 86 minutes.

The German league is pure entertainment this year.
Bayern lost 5-1 against Frankfurt.
Leipzig gave an 8 nil thrashing.

Damn it, Villa!

That is why both Liverpool and Man City will run away with it again. Neither really know how to lose.

Also worth noting that VAR rules out a Firmino goal for offside.

He wasn’t - and I really mean wasn’t - offside. I really think there is some sort of premiership conspiracy now to discredit the whole system. How on Earth that decision got made I have no idea.

Another goal for Pulisic today. Nice.

Meanwhile, Fulham.... blech.

EDIT: And Levante beat Barcelona handily!

Some top drawer sh*t-housery from Pep today too.

In the 60th minute at 0-1 the Southampton assistant manager got hold of the ball and wasn't exactly rapid at giving it back. So then when City were 2-1 up with a few minutes to play the ball went to Pep and he turned around and tried to give it to that same guy.

Wow, I picked Tottenham to finish third and thought Everton might crack the top 6. Silly me.

That was an awful first half by both teams.

I think this is the first time I can genuinely say "he's not that sort of player," about someone. In this case, Heung Min Son.

Amen! More likely to give an opponent a hug than a deliberately hard tackle. Love that guy. I own at least three jerseys with his name on them.

Yeah, it was a foul, it was a yellow, but I feel very safe saying he absolutely wasn't trying to cause anything near that happening.

In other news, Bayern Munich is four points off top in the Bundesliga after 10 games, and top of their Champions League group with a perfect record.

So obviously, they just fired their head coach.

To be fair, they're 1-1-2 in the League since October, and haven't kept a clean sheet in any competition since September 21.

Just found out DAZN Canada puts highlights that are almost MOTD good on their YouTube channel so I was watching football highlights much of the morning. Good stuff.

From what Rafa Honigstein gas been saying on the totally euro show I'm not too surprised Kovac got sacked. Sounds like he was a bad fit for a club of that statute, making ridiculous excuses.

I literally couldn't even tell you if he's a full back or a centre back, but I'm glad I somehow decided to pick up Sheffield's John Lundstrom for my fantasy team. That is all.

It is VERY funny now watching "All or Nothing" and the drama with which they treat the Alex Sanchez transfer.

I know Arsenal are on a fairly mediocre run but I didn't think we were already hitting full hysteria mode. On f*cking November 4th.

Jose Mourinho? Oh boy.

Believe that was first floated by Mourinho mouthpiece Duncan Castles, so probably just trying to pressure bigger clubs like real Madrid Into worrying about missing out on Mourinho.

That said Emery absolutely needs to be sacked sooner rather than later.

During any game, Emery looks like he wants to go to the toilet. He should be dismissed just for that.

Son's red card has been overturned, as it should be. Hope Gomes has a speedy and full recovery.

Liverpool will play the Carabo Cup quarter final against Aston Villa on the 17th December, and the World Club cup match (in Qatar) on the 18th December using two completely different squads.

While that strikes me as an eminently practical solution, it should be noted it’s only really feasible due to the size and depth of Liverpool’s squad

I also reckon it’ll take about another 6-8 hours before FIFA kicks off about it devaluing the important of the Club World Cup and insisting they change this plan because God forbid their sponsors grumble that Adam Lallana isn’t in Qatar........

Honest question: Do people care about the Carabo Cup? From watching Klopp's interview about the scheduling, it felt like he was disappointed that Liverpool won.

Or does caring about it have to do with your club's success, so smaller teams might care if they do well, but larger teams like Liverpool generally treat it like an annoying mosquito?
