Space Battleship Yamato

I stabbed myself 3 times with an Exacto knife making this.

Latest batmobile. I'll probably get the video game version sooner or later.

I haven't bought this yet ($200 is a lot for this), but:

Have you tried re-watching the series as an adult? To me, it is almost unwatchable it is so bad.

Jetfire in basic G1 mode and armor mode standing on my messy desk. I love this guy. The robotech transformer decepticon turned autobot.

On a different note there is a Omega Supreme siege transformer that looks great. Much to big for me and I'm not the biggest fan of Omega Supreme but he does look G1 perfect.

This is amazing. The original Jetfire toy was essentially the Robotech F-14 transformer (and probably the best large-scale Veritech). This is the version from the TV show and is simply amazing. I want!

Yes, a few years back I saw that the entire series is on YouTube. It's rather... I'll be kind and say it's rather "dated".

I also recently tried to re-watch Bubble Gum Crisis. I couldn't do it, especially the English dub which was just f*cking awful. I never really understood gripes about English dubbed anime until that.

I thought the remaster of the first season, yamato 2199 was excellent. I haven't watched the remaster of the second or third season yet. The only problem I had with 2199 was I thought it was the complete series not just the first season.

Hasbro will be raising the prices on all there action figures.

Found the 35th Anniversary Siege Optimus Prime at Walmart today. It’s basically the same as Siege Optimus, but with fairly cool G1 style paint.

There is a cell shaded statue of optimus that looks great. Cost like a billion dollars. I like the siege one. I also seen Megatron but it looks odd in tank mode.

Anyway here are my newest barbies I preordered. They also had Dark Phoenix but I didn't have interest in it.

Also have the original wonder woman, catwoman and Lt Uhura barbie. Maybe I also have Elsa but I don't know how I got it. I suspect demons or Obama.

The plan was to put these on stands and stick them on the wall. However, I haven't open any of my barbies and probably wont start now.

Are we still doing phrasing?

Or

In this edition of Out of Context Theater?

I couldn't help myself:

They are going sell lots of toys based on that show.

Amazon has Reaper figma for $40. Big Bad Toystore has a bunch of frame girls on sell.

Black Series figures have always been popular. Before they started re-releasing the beginning waves you could sell them for >100 on ebay.

Didn't put on any of her gear. Just took her out to make sure nothing was missing or broken. I did say I wouldn't buy any more toys after finding a box of figures I completely forgot I had. I made a exception for christmas and my up coming birthday. To be fair to myself though I said I wouldn't buy anymore figures unless I had space to display them. The box she is standing on is one of three new display cases I bought. And I have another fancy case from sideshow coming in.

Anyway I'm going to have to look at some reviews. She didn't come with instructions. I'm worried about her hands being able to hold the sword. I don't want to break her fingers trying to get her to hold it. I wish they did the breakaway handle design for it.

One nice thing was the smell. It has that new car but for toys smell. Also the fleshy seamless body feels nice. This is my third seamless figure. I think they are better than hot toys hard plastic bodies. Probably doesn't matter much if the body is fully covered. Then you can't see those nasty joints.

Oh I just though of something. That base is going to give her 3 more inches of height. She probably wont fit in the case. Sad

For 2019 my top action figure, statue or toy is siege Jetfire. Looks great and fun to transform. I paid more for other stuff but didn't get as much childhood joy I did from Jetfire.

The marvel barbies are 50% off at gamestop.

I want to build a Gundam model. I built one before. A smaller one, 1/144 scale apparently.

This one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003K...

I'd like to build something a bit more complex or bigger, obviously pricier but not by too much. Also, preferably something that's as iconic as that one. I didn't watch too much Gundam so I don't know all the weird variants. Any suggestions? I'm not too familiar with the various names of lines. But I'm thinking of picking up the right tools too.

Why care about being iconic if you are not really into gundams? Why not just get whatever looks cool. Personally I don't really dig the iconic ones. My favorite is one that looks like sailor moon.
This is the one I have Sailor Gundam

I have a few others but I don't recall their names and they cost a lot. Something I can recommend though are gundam markers and a gundam liner pen to do panel lines. I used them for other things besides gundams.

Best gundam kits of 2019

This ought to be fun!

Kotobukiya Street Fighter: Decapre Bishoujo Statue is $33 on Amazon. Usually it is around $90.
Evil Cammy

Life sized baby yoda is up for pre order clocking in at $350.

They might have missed their prime time to sell these. On the other hand hot toys tend to come out a year or so after they appear on a movie or show unless they have a track record of selling like iron man. Man I'm sick of iron man hot toys. Give me a Okoye.

Man, that is one complicated looking model.

Barbie's newest line has wide range of dolls. Some have vitiligo, some have prosthetic limbs, guys with long hair, bald women, and mixed race dolls.
