NFL 2019: Week 6

Lol Dallas missed FG

Broadcast is finally commenting on just how flooded the Rams stadium is with 49ers fans. Crowd is actually making all the noise on the Rams' 3rd downs.

Jayhawker would love this.

I would, but

It's the start of the 4th quarter, and Jared Goff has 27 yards passing this game.

No, that isn't missing a digit.

Goddammit I was gonna bench him for Mariota but figured there was no way he'd have worse numbers than Mariota.

Edit: Holy sh*t he does have more yardage than Mariota.

Rams scored on the opening drive, and then the game was all 49ers the rest of the way.

Rams went 0/13 on 3rd and 4th down. Not one single conversion.

I thought this week was going to be rough, with the short week and injuries and the extra time for the Rams.

But I forgot McVay is no Shanahan.

Niners run game obviously wasn't the same without Juszczyk and McGlinchey, but the defense made it not matter.

What year is it?

That's embarrassing.

Hahahaha Dallas

You need a new QB, stat.

Geez that Titans drive chart

1st half:
Punt (3 plays)
Punt (3 plays)
Punt (6 plays)
Punt (6 plays)
Punt (6 plays)
Punt (5 plays)
Interception (1 play)

2nd half:
Punt (3 plays)
Interception (3 plays)
--- Tannehill enters the game here ---
Punt (3 plays)
Punt (5 plays)
Turnover on Downs (6 plays)
Interception (11 plays)

Too bad the Jags weren't very good today, or I would have enjoyed this even more.

Man, what a wacky week.

* Browns choke at home (but Russell Wilson is gunning for an MVP)
* Saints score 13 but win (booo)
* LOL Falcons
* LOL Cowboys ... J-E-T-S JETS!
* Mariotta is benched
* Chiefs lose at home (!)
* Niners completely shut down the Rams

I think I'll skip tonight's PIT-SD game and what's this? Jameis just threw another INT?

Georgia should just voluntarily give up all of its sports teams. Or at least Atlanta (other than the soccer team).

Hey, remember the 2015 Draft, and how there were two sure-fire franchise QBs ready to go 1-2 and lead their teams for years?

*awkward silence*

Steelers were always going to run a lot.

The Chargers apparently didn't get the memo.

And Jameis actually is the best QB of the draft class.

And they're still better than the 2013 draft class.

Am I watching the Chargers get stomped by a team quarterbacked by Devlin Hodges? Is that what's happening right now?

Sunday night is the new Thursday night?

Good thing there's baseball playoffs instead

The LA experiment has failed. Both teams have no fans.

I'm glad I was at my cousin's baby shower unable to watch the Eagles game.

...okay, that's not entirely true. I went into the club house bar briefly to catch an update and saw it was 0-10.

I let my phone keep updating me after that.

Eventually I stopped checking my phone.

Is someone going to have a sit down with Jim Schwartz, finally? About how his defense isn't stopping anything but the Jets?

...who, evidently, managed to beat Dallas?!

What a weird day to miss football.

Am I the only person disappointed that that game didn't result in a scoreless overtime tie?

Darnold is back at QB for the Jets. Darnold has serious flaws at QB, but he's certainly a better QB than the rest of the Jets roster.

I fear Darnold may be taking the Andrew Luck path. The Jets are so Browns-like they're certainly going to kill off Darnold's talent.

Well, I missed football because I had to pick my wife and kid up from the airport. I’m glad I didn’t miss anything with the Browns. And I am looking forward to Week 7 where the Browns can’t lose and somehow Baker will still throw two picks.

Iso, I'm sorry, look away...

A couple picks bounced off the receivers, again. This likely has something to do with Baker's accuracy not being pinpoint, but instead being "in the general vicinity".

Tonight's game should be good, right? I'm not used to factoring MNF into my Monday night plans.

We'll see if it's good, but it sure is important. Getting a win over the Packers at Lambeau would be big for potential NFC North tiebreakers, and this is the kind of win that could galvanize the Lions season. They win, and that week 1 tie against Arizona will fade in the rear view.

If Green Bay wins, they'll have already banked 1 win against everyone else in their division, and be firmly in the NFC North driver's seat.

God Friended F**ked Me

I should have guessed Draw Play Dave was going to run with this one:

I only watched the second half but Rivers was hurried or hit on almost every play and they had pretty much abandoned the run. Watt was in the backfield more than Gordon.

Whatever the league tried to do to fix Pass Interference it went horribly bad. Between the Thursday Night game.. the Eagles/Vikings, and then Cowboys/Jets game the officials called a myriad of ticky-tack PI's and then completely ignored obvious PI's.. then failed when challenged to correct any of them.

Oh and then managed to be inconsistent team to team and even play to play with all the above.

The Eagles would have lost anyway.. and Dallas might have ended up losing by 20.
