Random thing you love right now that doesn't deserve its own thread

Endless love for Goodjers today. At a hangout with a bunch of community folks and I love each and every one of them to bits and more than words or hugs can ever convey. This community is so beautiful and gives me so much hope, inspiration, and love for the future that we’re helping to create. Day by day. Example by example. Friend by friend. For those of you I’ve met, and those who I have yet to meet, you’re awesome.

That is all.

My wife just saw the møøse-related subtitles to the Holy Grail intro credits for the first time, ever. It was amazing.

If there was one movie that I could watch “for the first time” again...

I first watched it in a high school class with a bunch of other nerds and the nerdiest biology teacher lady. It was amazing.

“That” surgery time! (Almost - admitted 6pm tomorrow) .

Definitely a love, but also definitely a nervous one! Especially since I’m at the other end of the UK for it.

All of the very best! A random weirdo in the midwest US will be sending you some positive thoughts and vibes:)

Good luck! Hope it all goes well.

It would have been nice if you asked me first, but I guess I could since you already committed me to it.

Three out of three doctors agree that rn it looks like I can go home tomorrow. Unless one specific test is positive, Doc is free!

Watching two cars, or in today's case a car and a big truck with a trailer truck thing behind it, travelling at *exactly* the same speed side by side, so it looks like they're attached.

Awesome to hear, Dr. Incurable!

How long will home recovery be for you?

That sounds awesome, Dr. Curable! That makes 4 of 4 docs. I was a bit worried there for a while.

So a week at most we think? Really small, minimally invasive incision. Turned out to be a cyst-like object. Any infection that was present was killed by the vanco long ago.

I just fixed an issue with my iPhone where the connector seemed loose and cables would not stay and in charge it properly. Turns out there was TON of pocket fluff down there. Thanks Internet!!!

How did the Internet fill your phone full of pocket fluff?

Spoiler:

unless you were using “thanks ______” unironically, which I am given to understand is not allowed on the internet.

This community. Anywhere else, I post a drawing prompt of "ham prophecy" and I'm the weird one. Here, I get incredible pictures of messianic swines.

That’s the thing about GWJ: the community is always up for showing off it’s chops.

Yep. And the newbies come in like lambs to the... whatever building lambs live in for their safety and comfort.

You're right, I was being un-ironic. But maybe also ironic because it probably was the internet's fault I had so much lint in my phone! I mean, why didn't anybody tell me this before I took the time to look it up?
